It honestly blows my mind watching how people react to market pullbacks on this app
look at what happened with
$NBIS
back in july it was sitting down at $150
it rallied almost 90% straight to $280, and my entire timeline was crying about missing the move
everyone kept saying that if it ever dropped below $200 again, they’d back up the truck because it was a "generational buy"
well here we are
it’s sitting at $165 today, almost revisiting that July zone, and almost nobody is buying
suddenly the narrative flipped
now those exact same people are saying they want to wait for it to break back above $200 before they touch it.
think about how backward that logic is
if you buy at $165, you have a very clear downside reference around the previous $130 support shelf
that’s roughly 21% risk, and you can scale in with a real plan if your thesis holds
but if you wait until it runs all the way back over $200 just so it feels "safe" you’re paying a 25% premium, your stop has to go way below the swing low and if it turns out to be a fakeout that rolls back to $130, you take a massive loss
you're literally taking on worse risk/reward just to feel comfortable.
and this isn't just happening to
$NBIS either
it's the exact same psychology across the whole board
look at
$AVGO
in march and april it was bouncing around $300 to $320
it ran 65% up toward $490
everyone was hyping it up to $550 and promising they’d buy the next pullback
now it corrected right back down to $328, and the timeline is dead silent
nobody wants it.
look at
$NVDA
in early october it broke out past $240
everyone was celebrating how obvious buying at $200 had been, calling for $270 - $300 next
now it pulls back to $214 and the buyers completely vanish.
look at
$INTC
it ran 40% from $87 in august
and now it has round tripped right back to $87 with gap support sitting down at $73 (16% risk)
once again, crickets on the feed.
you see this identical setup playing out on
$MU,
$DRAM,
$SKHY,
$BE,
$MRVL,
$ASML,
$ARM,
$AMAT,
$LRCX and
$ALAB
in a few months when these names inevitably carve out a bottom, reverse, and double to fresh ATH, the exact same people will be on here posting charts about how "obvious" the bottom was or pretending they alerted it in their private group
that’s the part that drives me crazy.
if you actually want to make real money in this market, stop waiting for permission from X.
the market never hands you a bottom wrapped in a bow with good news.
pick your top 2 or 3 setups, map your downside levels, take the calculated risk when people are panicking, and actually hold the move.
you don't build wealth by waiting until everyone else feels comfortable.
