the validation you need from the diligence you missed

You keep calling it "AI-Native Automation Infrastructure." Here's what it actually was. To use it, you gave Streaml your LinkedIn password. Then their cloud browser logged in as you and DM'd strangers in your name. It's a bot wearing your name Vivian with a failed login page and zero users. Receipts 🧵
Addressing some questions I’ve been getting lately My company started as a general AI marketing tool. I built an automation engine, hired engineers. Then I kept noticing something. We started cohosting more and more marketing events per people’s requests. One founder closed $20k deals over poker we hosted Meanwhile the outbound product was generating sends, not revenue. So I made the call. Killed the product I pitched YC on. Rebuilt this company around the thing that was actually working: curated rooms. That was the scariest month of my life. I went from a team to solo overnight. From "AI startup" to "she plans events." The pivot almost broke me. But it taught me an important lesson I've learned as a founder: Kill the thing that isn't working, don’t be scared to pivot. Forever grateful for the people who believe in me and support me along the way- my investors, parents, boyfriend, friends, and everyone who’s placed their trust in me.

Which is awkward, because the pitch was huge. "Millions in deals" across 8 industries. "The equivalent of a $100K+ sales agency." "Trusted by 20+ Fortune 500." Every case study anonymized. Zero named customers. Versus zero users.

Now it's events. Before that, AI-UGC. Before that, the bot above. Each one launched as the next big thing, each quietly dropped. The events page still has "AI infrastructure" in its title.

Polsia raised $30M for "AI that runs your company." We did the diligence — on their own data: - Fake ARR (real ≈ $0) - Fake customers (94% dead) - A human-graded Claude wrapper, not autonomous - A god-mode kill-switch on every company you build 🧵👇

The kicker: Polsia shipped their entire frontend source map to the public — reconstructable code. The "$30M proprietary AI" is something they open-sourced themselves.

luel.ai raised $31.2M. The datasets, ARR, and jobs don't reconcile. Not a leak. Their own public product surface. Luel's datasets, ARR, and contributor jobs don't reconcile. 🧵 not-luel.vercel.app

Prompted by @avipat_'s tweet. Disclosure: Patel runs a tokenized version of the same business model ($KLED). This thread is not a $KLED endorsement. It reconciles Luel's stated claims against Luel's own public product surface.
