nigerian music is so interesting man, just found out nigeria had a thriving psychedelic rock scene in the 1970s & it’s crazy how nobody talks about it. OFEGE were a band of secondary school students aged 15-17 from OBALENDE, LAGOS. combining traditional west african melodies with western sounds and its a gem. trust me you’ll love it if you give them a listen.
