Tesla, FSD, SpaceX, and more. Just a guy who loves Tech and wants to learn and share how it could shape are future! Future Optimist.

Today Tesla FSD unequivocally saved me and my fiancée from a major collision or worse. Green arrow to turn left and FSD starts to go then suddenly stops, I'm thinking why did you stop I hit the accelerator pedal, it breaks again at the same time a SUV barrels through the intersection running a red light. From my view In the car I never saw the vehicle. Had I been in any other vehicle and pressed the accelerator I have no doubt I would have been T- boned in my driver side door. This happens everyday and lives are lost. This technology saves lives. Thank you @Tesla and @teslasi for keeping us safe anywhere we go. 2026 Model Y AWD on V14.3.6

Tesla had nearly two million cumulative miles by end of the quarter. "We reached nearly two million cumulative unsupervised miles for our Robotaxi service as of the end of the quarter." This means they added over 1.2M miles in 3 weeks!

If you are a new Tesla Customer and you do not Subscribe to FSD you are now in the minority or new owners. FSD adoption continued to increase during the quarter, including record net new subscriptions. We also achieved record FSD attach rates in North America, with over 75% of new deliveries including FSD subscriptions. Tesla has over 15 Billion Miles on FSD right now.

My Estimated chart from October 15th on Robotaxi Unsupervised Miles: 10% WoW would have been 1.8M miles 17% WoW would have been 2.6M miles Tesla is currently at 3.1M miles at 20.3% If they continue at this pace they will hit 16.3M miles by the end of the year. This is before adding more cities, more vehicles, increasing geofences and going 24/7. My 15M miles by EOY does not seem so crazy now.
People were laughing at me when I suggested 15 million Unsupervised miles for @robotaxi by the EOY (December 31st) Elon said 10% WoW growth, 17% comes out to 15 Mil. The realistic take is 1.8M miles right now but I bet they’re more like 2.6M With 24/7 service more cars, larger geofences and more cities… 15M is not unrealistic.

Shout out to the @robotaxi no hater can take away what you have accomplished and continue to do! Loving the saftey stats and keep them coming! -Human drivers could have caused 0.52 collisions with pedestrians or cyclists in the same number of miles. -Human drivers could have caused 4.1 collisions with airbag deployments in the same number of miles. -Human drivers could have caused 9.1 collisions with injuries in the same number of miles.
We are launching the Tesla Robotaxi safety report today. Till date, Robotaxi has driven a total of 3.3 million miles autonomously, and has had zero injuries nor airbag deployments. If the same number of miles were to be manually driven, we should expect roughly 9 injuries to the occupants or other pedestrians and 4 airbag deployments on average. We will continue to transparently share our progress with the public using this page. tesla.com/robotaxi/safety

Tesla Robotaxi throwing some shade at Waymo and Avride. Honeslty this acceptable, Waymo called Tesla Frauds. “Multimodal sensors are indispensable. By combining inputs from cameras, lidar, and radar, the Waymo Driver creates a rich, redundant world view that no single sensor can replicate.” “No single sensor can replicate…” The first direct attack against Tesla. Funny enough, Tesla has already proven this wrong with Robotaxi operating safely. As Ashok has said many times, AI is not a sensor suite problem; it’s an AI problem." “Simply improving a driver assistance system for full autonomy is a FALSE summit” If you are going to throw the punches you have to learn to take them too!

Here is a montage of Tesla Robotaxi clips On the way it handles everyday traffic: semi trucks pulling alongside, a police car with its lights on at a night intersection, an animal crossing a quiet road, narrow alleys, and rain as well.

The Sooner that Tesla and SpaceX ccan come to some agreements on a Merger the better. The longer they wait the more they will scale and the harder it will be. Need to do it as fast as they can imo. These two companies can hold their own but they are better together than seperate!

Although I disagree with how Waymo treats Tesla I have to say they are doing well with expanding, especially to airports in major cities, the worst apsect of travel is landing at the airport and having to take an Uber. I do wonder what Tesla is doing with Vegas, they have approval but have not started offering rides. I imagine there will be alot of questions regarding scaling and services for Robotaxi in todays earnings call.
Las Vegas, your travel just got easier. ✈️ 🎰 Waymo is now at @LASairport! Starting today, Waymo riders in Las Vegas have airport access, and we’ll welcome more riders in the coming weeks.
