Ozedikus Nwanne (real name Igbinoba Osaze / Igbinoba Osazee Festus) is a Nigerian record producer, pianist, sound engineer, and artist from Edo State, known for Afrobeats production and his signature tag “Ozedikus Nwanne” (or “Ozedikusii Nwanne”) at the start of tracks.Instagram
He was born on March 23, 1992 (he turned 34 in 2026), in the Benin City area of Edo State. He spent his early years with his grandparents in a more rural setting before moving to Lagos (around age seven) to live with his parents—his mother a teacher and his father in the military. He is the third of four children and has described himself as introverted. His stage name draws from the fictional wizard Zeddicus in the TV series Legend of the Seeker, combined with a nickname from “Osaze.” “Nwanne” is Igbo for sibling/brother and became part of his producer tag.Bulaba
He began in music as a church pianist and music director in gospel settings in Lagos (Ojo area). Production started around 2014–2015 as more of a hobby while he played piano for bands and churches (sometimes unpaid for long stretches). Around 2017 he fully shifted to secular production because it was more financially viable than gospel work at the time. He connected with artists like Crayon, became associated with Mavin Records (meeting Don Jazzy), and had his major breakthrough in 2019 producing Rema’s hit “Dumebi,” which helped launch Rema’s career and brought Ozedikus widespread recognition. The beat was originally made for someone else who passed on it; Rema heard it and it became the final track.Punchng

He has received recognition such as the Beatz Award for New Discovery Producer of the Year (2019) and nominations including Producer of the Year at The Headies (2019) and African Producer of the Year at Soundcity MVP Awards (2020). He has also released his own music as an artist and, as of early 2026, was working on a debut producer-style album featuring other artists while continuing to produce.Naijabioworld
