I do not plan to leave Twitter, however I also have #Mastodon now, so you can follow me there for #sudo and #syslog_ng news:

T-shirt of the day: #FreeBSD 25 years #anniversary :-) From that I used @freebsd for 24 years. The #tshirt is nothing new, I have been a FreeBSD user for the past 32 years!
My @turris_cz Omnia #Linux#router is 10 years old. It not just works fine, but still receives regular software updates. Today's update also installs the latest #syslog_ng:
• Updated package syslog-ng from version 4.11.0-r1 to version 4.12.0-r1
According to @fedora Copr stats, my #Amazon#Linux 2023 repo for syslog-ng has tons of downloads. However, I did not receive any feedback, so I did not update it for two years. Finally I got a request, so #syslog_ng is now updated to version 4.12.0.

#Drought in #Hungary. Some photos about my favorite (artificial) #lake at the edge of #Budapest. The #reed is not in #water anymore. The stream feeding the lake is #dry. Water level is at least half a meter lower than normally.
Most of August, I was on #vacation, but now I’m back and I try catching up on the #syslog_ng events of the past weeks. Currently, we are #fixing issues and #reviewing contributions, but we also discussed scaling back our efforts on syslog-ng #Java support.

For the past couple of weeks I was away for #vacation. I have seen many beautiful places, still, two of my favorite #photos are about #birds. A real one, and the #statue of a popular Hungarian #cartoon character :-)
After being away for weeks on #vacation and other reasons, I'm back. I'm trying to catch up with the real world and resume #syslog_ng#blogging. Do you have any topics you would like me to cover in the syslog-ng #blog?
