Kashmir Black Day Observed at the Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo The Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo observed “Kashmir Black Day on 27 October” to express solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and to reaffirm Pakistan’s support for their right to self-determination. During the event, the First Secretary Shoaib Mansoor read out messages from the President, the Prime Minister, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, highlighting Pakistan’s principled position on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute. In his remarks, Ambassador Abdul Hameed underscored the significance of the relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions, for a free and impartial plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir, enabling the Kashmiri people to determine their own future in accordance with their aspirations. Beaconhouse Students Visit Pakistan’s Embassy in Tokyo Welcoming students and teachers from the BeaconHouse School System to the Embassy in Tokyo, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Japan encouraged them to observe how education, innovation, discipline and teamwork contribute to the country’s achievements and consider how those examples might inform Pakistan’s progress. Japan’s economic and technological strengths, he suggested, are rooted in a broader culture of education, innovation, discipline and teamwork. As part of the Embassy’s outreach to Japan’s regions, Ambassador Abdul Hameed visited Hokkaido’s Hidaka region on 8 October 2026 to strengthen local ties and explore opportunities for cooperation.
