If money wasn't a factor, I would have loved to be a teacher or lecturer. It is something I genuinely enjoy, and I know I'm good at it. No matter how complex an idea is, I can break it down into simple terms that even a student who struggles with the subject can understand.
Before my NYSC, I taught in a school, and I also taught during my service year. Even now, I volunteer to teach students preparing for exams free of charge. Whenever I have two weeks off work, I sometimes teach in a school. It is my own little way of giving back to society.
I love education so much that, if I had my way, everyone around me would be well educated. In university, I organised tutorials for my junior colleagues and even my classmates. They would often leave saying, "This course is so easy. Why did it seem so difficult when the lecturer taught it?"
Currently, I have two master's degrees and I'm currently pursuing my PhD, I still see myself returning to the classroom at some point in my life. For now, I'll keep doing what I can to impact lives and share knowledge, even if it's through my posts here on X.
If money wasn’t a factor, what profession would you genuinely love to pursue?
