💚🎻 Belfast has just launched a bid to host Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2028. This year’s Fleadh brought 1.6 million people to Belfast, with an incredible atmosphere on the streets of our city. With the Fleadh already set to return next year, here’s hoping we can make it three years in a row!

I will be interviewed by the PSNI today in relation to my participation in a peaceful protest at Garvaghy Road. I will always stand up for what is right, and Sinn Féin fully supports the people of Garvaghy Road.

It was a privilege to hear @OrlaithiF_MLA , Chair of the All-Party Group on Suicide Prevention, speak about the inquiry. Órlaithí works tirelessly to support the community and voluntary sector and the incredible work taking place in communities such as West Belfast. West Wellbeing is approaching five years of active service in the Colin area, five years of supporting people experiencing emotional distress and working to prevent suicide within our community. Thank you Orlaithi for your support! @PaulMaskeyMP @puntersg

🙌🏻 A must watch speech from Sinn Féin MLA Emma Sheerin! “People here want progress. They don’t want to be dragged back to the days of Drumcree. People want to look to the future.”

We have contributed to the world and humanity in countless fields, earning an impressive number of Nobel Prizes along the way. Unfortunately, we have not yet found a cure for stupidity, ignorance and hypocrisy displayed by @IrelandFootball team coach. We’re not playing with ignorance, hypocrisy and stupidity, We’re playing against the coach who embodies them.

It is with the heaviest of hearts we learned of the passing of the irrepressible Mary Heenan today. In 2015 Mary travelled with RFJ to the heart of London and delivered a writ on Brigadier Frank Kitson, the architect of collusion, citing his role in the murder of her dear husband Paddy. Mary was a wife, a mother, a human rights defender, and a source of unending hope and courage. Tonight we send our heartfelt condolences to her family. Go ndéana Dia trócaire uirthí

We’ll have a lot more Féile next year Gordon. In fact, the West Belfast community will make sure it’s the biggest Féile ever!
"It would be better for everyone in Northern Ireland if we had a little more Fleadh and a lot less Feile next year."
