I chased work-life balance for years and felt guilty every week. What helped: rhythm, not balance. Some weeks lean work, some lean family. The trick is a small daily anchor that doesn't move. Mine is 10 minutes before the laptop opens. Free classes, any time zone. Link in bio.

Happy day of victory. Ravana's ten heads always made me think. Mine has at least one: the need to be right. This year I'm burning that one. It's the one that tightens my jaw at home. Free classes, any time zone. Link in bio.

Meditation myths I believed before I started: You have to sit cross-legged. You need an hour. A wandering mind means you're failing. None of it held up. A few minutes, a chair, coming back gently. That's the practice. Free class tonight 8pm CT, any time zone. Link in bio.

Sunday night journal prompts for anxiety, the two-minute kind. Sunday evening has a feeling for me. Shoulders creep up, and I start rehearsing Monday before it arrives. So I keep it small. A pen, this card, three blanks: This week I'm carrying ___ One thing I can set down ___ One person I want to be gentle with ___ The third one is usually the one that softens my chest. Sometimes the person is me. Which blank was hardest to fill? Save this for next Sunday. Free class Monday 8pm CT, beginner-friendly, any time zone. Link in bio.

How do you stay calm in good times and bad? I re-read life like a heart monitor: up, down, and small flat lines between. Neither the peak nor the valley lasts. This Sunday I'm drawing my week that way. Where's my flat line?

Saturday class in 45 minutes ☀️ If you're still groggy, try this first. In yoga, right-nostril breathing is used to wake you up. Rest your left thumb on your left nostril. In through the right for 6, out for 6. Three rounds. That's a tradition I practice, not a lab claim. Try it and see what your body says. Then come sit with us. Free classes at 8am and 12 noon CST, beginner-friendly, any time zone. Link in bio.

What if we lived in a world where no human ever goes hungry or thirsty? Financial stress resides in the body. The anxiety of 3 AM manifests in tightness in the chest, and the mind becomes troubled when the stomach growls without food. This is not a character flaw. If you can, please help at least one family. Stay blessed.

Tell-Sell-Yell: when people don't get it, we tell more, then sell, then yell. By then every jaw is tight. Every mind is full. The best boss I had shared first, asked, and listened to connect.

Today is World Food Day. A UN report found households wasted over 1 billion meals a day in 2022. That stopped me. Not guilt, just attention: one breath before the first bite, a thought for the hands that grew it, take only what you'll finish.

To me the story is about courage that's steady, not loud. Fear grips my stomach. Courage sits a little higher, in the heart. What's one thing you'd face if you trusted that?

Today is Global Handwashing Day. The CDC says scrub for at least 20 seconds. That's also just enough time for one slow breath and dropped shoulders. Feel the water. Smell the soap. Nobody has to know you're meditating.

Midweek reset. Harvard researchers found our minds wander in 46.9% of waking moments, and people were less happy when they did. Not a flaw. Just a cue. Feet on the floor, one slow breath, attention back to the heart. I offer free, beginner-friendly sessions. Link in bio.
