Congratulations to the student-athletes of the week! 📚 🏃 Sloff won the men’s Paul Short Run 8K Gold Race on Friday morning in 23:59.8 becoming the first Nittany Lion to win the race since Evan Dorenkamp did three seasons ago in 2023. Penn State also posted 129 points to secure second place, their best team finish at the Paul Short Run since winning the title in 2001. 🏒 In Friday’s 5-3 win over Robert Morris, first-year Sofia Ismael tallied her first collegiate goal and added an assist. On Saturday, she recorded her first collegiate hat trick and added an assist for a four-point performance in the Nittany Lions’ 4-1 victory over the Colonials, helping secure the weekend sweep. Three out of Ismael’s four shots on net were goals. The last Penn State first-year to record a hat trick was two seasons ago in the 2024-25 season. #WeAre x @MITERbrands
