Outcome of CPR in pts with #COVID19 who arrest in hospital – data from 136pts in Wuhan:
◾️Initially ‘successful’ (ROSC achieved) in 13%
◾️Only 2.9% survived for at least 30d
◾️Just 1 pt (0.7%) had a favourable neurological outcome at 30d

Couldn’t agree more. Real PoCUS mostly qualitative in nature. Looking for gross abnormalities that can explain a clinical finding.
Being good at emergency ultrasound does not mean learning to do fancy measurements
It means becoming really good at interpreting a black and white clip and spotting serious pathology
And you only get that ability by looking at hundreds of scans
