The excuses people make about the crows being sanitized annoy me. Even if Zevran made it better, which makes 0 sense. 1000 years of practices don’t get erased in a decade. They are still a group of assassins. Being an assassin is a morally dubious career inherently 😭

It’s weird when people say Taash is the worst written character in dragon age veilguard when it’s Lucanis, he just gets a free pass cause he’s hot. But he’s like objectively the worst abomination character in the franchise. Spite is basically just a cat that’s kinda sassy.

Esp bc forgiveness also functions as a way of restoring the social standing of the offender w/o requiring restitution. Once the victim refuses to forgive, they become the obstacle to reconciliation, & the community can treat their continued pain as disrupting social order
Society’s obsession with forgiveness is one of the biggest contributors to abuse of all forms. Somehow the victim is gaslit into forgiving someone who wronged them but the same energy is never had for the actual abuser/perpetrator.

Romain Toutain revealed more about Mass Effect 5/Universe (this one really stings):
✨"The Shepard" was customizable and could do same moves in real combat as trailer
✨Everything in game was "stateful"
✨All choices from 1-3 taken into account
✨Called Universe so you could plug your saves together to create parallel universes (simplified explanation) but you could almost generate timelines similar to Zero Time
✨You could make decisions that might contradict things you've already done and so it would create plot "points" in the timeline
✨Missions didn't fail because you killed someone, paths would remain open (it worked well)
✨Absolute autonomy was the cornerstone of the game
✨No two players would experience the same thing, would have "experienced the same story but differently"
✨"EA never sells anything. they just shut things down and sit on their licenses"
✨Barman was a new race
✨Lore was incredible around new mass relays
✨"Billy" the hand thing might have generated tentacles
✨Was an idea for sharing your saves
