@klm flew from London to Amsterdam for a connecting flight to Mexico in November 2025. Still no response for a refund on our missing luggage. This was my mother’s retirement gift, which was absolutely ruined. Getting a response is like bleeding a stone. Can someone help?

Very often in healthcare, we make a massive effort to improve our delivery performance by changing our processes and practices. We should probably start much higher up in our knowledge structure by considering our paradigm - our beliefs about how to make change happen. If we do that, we start to frame the problem in different ways & adopt different principles for improvement. Graphic: adapted from @profhamel

Is anyone monitoring how clinical trials are advertised to potential participants on social media platforms? I’m seeing a lot of questionable language and tactics in use, in real time. #ethicalresearch

On call for Nottingham Neurology and i realised there is an epidemic of nitric oxide induced spinal cord and nerve damage. Terrifying to see paralysed young people from laughing gas canisters.

🔬 Less than 2% of all publicly funded research in the UK is spent on understanding or finding cures and treatments for lung conditions. So, we will urge the government to triple investment in lung research to find better treatments and cures for lung conditions.
