🚨MEN CAN BECOME WOMEN, SAYS PLAID DEPUTY FIRST MINISTER🚨 Plaid Cymru’s Sioned Williams has said she thinks men can become women following questions by Tory Senedd leader Darren Millar. Millar asked, “What is your view… on people who identify as women, should they go to a women’s prison?” Williams patronisingly attempted to skirt around his question by claiming that the matter isn’t devolved, ironically, suggesting that Millar shouldn’t have mentioned it. Millar rebutted that Plaid Cymru is “pursuing the devolution of powers” over justice, therefore they should be prepared to face questions on the issue. He pressed further, asking whether “biological men who identify themselves as women should be imprisoned alongside biological women”. Williams finally admitted, “we are absolutely pursuing” the devolution of the criminal justice system. She further declared that “trans women are women”. There we have it: if Plaid Cymru receive powers over justice, they’ll imprison men in frocks alongside real women.

He makes a good point, but Millar isn’t ’Leader of the Welsh Conservatives’. He’s leader of the Conservative group in the Senedd. There’s a difference. The Tories are Unionists and should not be attempting to diverge from the national party in this way. It bolsters separatism.

There are real-life consequences to Plaid Cymru’s inaction in government. Their priority should be the NHS, not independence.
