Imagine being high in 2003 and this game suddenly gaslights you

Their promos have just been Sami saying things that are objectively true and then Roman spewing some bullshit and saying acknowledge me and the braindead sheep in the crowd cheering him. How is Sami a heel to these people

Hua Qianxiao is such a fun fight. Every exchange is a test of how well you can read and react to an opponent who thrives on keeping you off balance. Phantom Blade Zero has some serious personality in its boss encounters

Part of the Final Fantasy experience is finding something to grind for, figuring out the most efficient way to do it, and losing yourself in the process

There’s something fitting about summoning Bartz during Gilgamesh’s final fight FFV fans know why this works

Hideo Kojima might be the only Director in gaming today to understand Hard Lights in cinematics and how & when to properly use them to create unique, memorable scenes like these that become iconic even to those who did not play the amazing game.

One of my favorite things Resonance has managed to capture is how personal Final Fantasy is to each of us. Everyone has their own Final Fantasy, the one that left a mark on them. Seeing those memories brought together gives everyone a different reason to feel something

History has a way of repeating itself in Final Fantasy

They used to just play shows like this on broadcast tv

Happy Halloween! 🎃👻💀

Some of the takes I'm seeing for Phantom Blade Zero got me convinced people are playing a different game than me.

Phantom Blade Zero fucks. I love when games blindside me with tough bosses. Hua is such a fun dance partner, making you rethink your positioning while keeping up with her attacks. I got sloppy, didn't switch weapons and almost messed up twice toward the end but wow what a fight!

Final Fantasy Resonance got me feeling a certain way so I did something about it

Phantom Blade Zero has some of the most satisfying combat I’ve played this year, which makes the decision not to have enemies respawn frustrating. This isn’t about Soulslike conventions or difficulty. I want more chances to engage with a combat system this good Make it optional

Why can’t the Resident Evil community be normal about Lily Gao? There is no excuse for sending anybody hate. If you don’t like her voice acting then play the original RE4 instead of the remake :) She is such a sweetheart and doesn’t deserve ts

"YOU MOTHERFUCKERS ARE GONNA KILL ALL MY LILLIES!" - Patrick Stewart

Patrick Stewart's self-eulogy is perfect. #patrickstewart

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026) Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love. We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway. America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire. His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen. Ian McKellen 29 October 2026 Photo: University of Huddersfield
