Norman Finkelstein's thoughts about Mexican immigrants working construction in NYC, and how they're so hard-working that they get all the construction jobs, other minorities can't get those jobs, and the Mexican families all have ten kids, with Cornel West and Richard Wolff.
Norman Finkelstein: "You're in New York City, you can't help but notice now, that most construction works are Mexican. It's just right there in your face. They're very hard-working, totally uncomplaining, I'm just speaking, I know Mexican workers. Very hard-working, totally uncomplaining, apparently live on nothing, I don't know how they do it."
Richard Wolff: "Huge numbers of them in two, must be in little apartments now."
Norman Finkelstein: "I know, if you're in Coney Island boardwalk, you see the mother, the father, and ten kids behind them, it's like a little army. So, it's very hard for an 'American', including American minority, to compete with them. It's very hard, 'cuz they work so hard, so fast, so uncomplaining, and live on so little."
