With the boating season winding down, it is time to put Coldbore in the garage for the winter. We will STILL try to get him out before the ice covers the lakes, but here are the final official season stats:
Total Kms driven: 4423kms
3 lakes: Cold Lake, Last Mtn Lake, Diefenbaker, Blackstrap.
Total hours on water: 309

Pretty sure Wainwright does not have microburst predicting tech. Looks like one to me.

The incident in #Wainwright, AB was captured on GOES and looks to have happened (or intensified) just after a strong outflow boundary crossed over the area. Praying for everyone involved.

Getting a ton of hateful DMs from people who do not know me saying I wrote this for "Click Bait" and only want to stir the pot for $$.
1- I am not monetized and don't care to make money off the deaths of fellow soldiers.
2- I trust whom I spoke with and reported what I was told.
3- Details like numbers are always fluid when incidents like this occur and are ongoing. Take the numbers with a grain of salt like I do.
I have no reason to believe the media who has lied to us for years. Or CAF HQ staff who have vested interest in doing the same.

Accounts from someone on the firing line was it was a shoulder fired HE round that "Dolphined" after it left the tube and went astray. NOT artillery.
This round hit a gas well which exploded and flattened the 3 Kill Houses that were full of troops which happened to be in close proximity of the well. Approx 300 troops inside and many waiting outside them. There is nothing but splinters left of them.
This also started a major fire that was fed by high winds that swept through the main Bivouac site housing the majority of troops in the field.
The amount of injured is staggering and the fatality count IS going to climb as they recover more victims.
In my 20+ years in the Army, I have only heard of a dolphining round happening once from a shoulder fired rocket. Not sure what would cause this other than possibly a faulty propellent.

I served at this base for 5 years as their contracts warrant officer.
I'm literally gutted right now knowing that a lot of my friends are most likely involved with this.
