Is MeCure widely owned by the public? Not really. Who owns it: Udani family: 85.21% Stanbic IBTC Nominees: 9.78% Just 4 accounts control about 95% of the company. Free float: 13.89% This includes about 9.8% held through Stanbic IBTC nominees. All other shareholders hold only 4.09%. Free float is the share of a company available to the public. The smaller it is, the harder it is to buy or sell, and prices can swing on small orders.

Rent and invest the bulk. With ₦200m you can put most of it into solid money market funds or T-bills currently yielding around 18 to 21%. That alone can generate ₦36m to ₦40m a year, more than enough to cover a very comfortable rent, while your capital stays liquid and keeps compounding. Building locks the money up, exposes you to construction delays and cost overruns, and usually delivers lower net returns than the fixed income options available right now. You can always build later with a bigger pot.
You just got your first ₦200 million. Do you BUILD a house or RENT one? 🏠💰

Where does your ₦100 go when you buy a beer? 🍺 Nigerian Breweries' 9M 2026 results (unaudited) answer that, and they teach you how to read any company's profit. For every ₦100 of sales: 🏭 ₦56.70 → cost of making the beer (grains, packaging, plant) 🚚 ₦21.90 → selling, distribution and adverts 🏢 ₦5.40 → admin and overheads 🏦 ₦0.70 → net finance costs (interest, FX) 🧾 ₦5.20 → tax 💰 ₦10.30 → profit left for shareholders (Rounded, with a little other income making it add up.) 📘 3 terms to remember: Gross profit = sales minus the cost of making the product. NB: ₦477.9bn (43% margin). Operating profit = gross profit minus selling and admin costs. NB: ₦179.2bn. Net profit = what is left after interest and tax. NB: ₦114.1bn. 💡 Why it matters: two companies with the same sales can have very different profits. Check the margin at each step. Here, profit jumped 33% on only 5% more revenue, mainly because the company paid off its loan and its interest bill fell. Next time you read results, ask: where does each ₦100 go? Not investment advice.

₦5M CAN EARN ₦5.75M IN 5 YEARS. HERE'S THE MATHS. I noticed some people misunderstood my previous post, so let me clarify. If you put ₦5 million into Risevest's Naira Vault at the displayed rate of 23% per annum for 5 years: Yearly return: ₦1,150,000 5-year estimated returns: ₦5,750,000 Your original ₦5,000,000 + ₦5,750,000 returns = ₦10,750,000. So, the estimated profit is ₦5.75 million, not ₦750,000.
₦5M in the Naira Vault on @Risevest for 5 years will give you ₦5.75M. Capital is safe...
