He's never had a campaign event so that would be a first.

Dude's on the run.
Daniel J. Sullivan, the independent candidate running for Senate in Alaska whose name is almost identical to the Republican senator running for reelection, left his hometown of Petersburg earlier this week, multiple sources confirmed to CBS News. One resident and former student of Sullivan's said she saw Sullivan on a flight to Anchorage on Monday — two days before The New York Times first reported that he was recruited by operatives linked to Democrat Mary Peltola's campaign. cbsn.ws/4sAVTfM

Asked whether it’s possible someone on Peltola’s campaign helped recruit Dan J, she says “I honestly have no idea.”

Somewhere, in a universe next to ours, a man who looks very much like Patrick Stewart wakes up from a long strange dream and begins playing the flute.

That's a hell of a case of whataboutism. I just think it's bad to try and rock trick people out of their vote.

In case you missed it, probably our most nerdy legal briefs episode ever discusses the Supreme Court argument in the Suncor case: 236. Suncor and the Future of Energy The Supreme Court started off with a bang this term, hearing perhaps the most important case of the year first. What is Suncor, and what does it mean for the future of energy litigation and, most importantly, your electric bill? podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…,,

A true crime influencer with over 50,000 followers has been hit with felony wiretapping charges after police say she secretly recorded Patrick Clancy's father during an accidental phone call — then posted the audio to Instagram. Shawna Gramkow allegedly obtained the phone number after Lindsay Clancy's defense attorney read it aloud during the murder trial. Christopher Clancy told police he never meant to answer the call and had no idea he was being recorded while talking about his eldest son Brian. The charges land as a deeper fracture emerges between Patrick and Lindsay Clancy's legal teams. Patrick's attorney told a court he expects Lindsay to testify she told her doctors about homicidal ideation toward her children. Lindsay's attorney fired back: she never said that, never agreed to testify, and Patrick's counsel "does not speak for Lindsay Clancy." Full story here foxnews.com/us/clancy-father…

I think an identity is more than a group of letters arranged in a certain way. To me he's just a conman who has the benefit of not needing to buy a fake ID.

Yeah, you're right. Only people holding office are prevented from accepting a foreign title. Still feels weird. But whatever good for him.
