🚀 Introducing 𝗜𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱: our new open-source tool for agentic engineering workflows. 𝗟𝗟𝗠𝘀 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸. 𝗜𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁. Who retries when verification fails? When should a human approve? And when should an agent stop trying? Those decisions need explicit rules. 𝗜𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 moves routing, retries, approvals, failures, and stop conditions 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗽 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁. Here’s what that looks like: 🔁 Verification fails → send the work back to the builder. ✋ An approval gate is reached → wait for a human. 🛑 The attempt limit is reached → park the run. Agents own execution. 𝗜𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 owns the protocol: each run follows only the transitions its loop file declares, with every human action recorded. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 news for anyone working on web performance! 🔥 Soft navigations are now showing up in CrUX — and you can check the new experimental metrics for your own site in CrUX Vis: cruxvis.withgoogle.com/ Until now, CrUX did not really support SPA's, it mostly measured the initial page load, missing what happens as users move through the app. The new experimental soft navigation 𝗟𝗖𝗣, 𝗜𝗡𝗣, and 𝗖𝗟𝗦 metrics include those in-app navigations, tracking experience across the full in-app journey. For those of us working with SPAs every day, this is a 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 toward seeing the performance experience users actually have. Go check your site! 🚀 Quick caveat: the metrics are experimental, and Google’s stable Core Web Vitals scores haven’t changed yet.

𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟰𝗺 𝟯𝟰𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟳.𝟴𝘀. Same Nx workspace. Same formatting check. 𝗔 𝟭𝟱× 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗽. ⚡ Across more than 68,000 files, formatting had become a recurring cost in CI. Moving from Prettier to oxfmt made a huge difference, but a complete swap wasn’t possible: some Angular templates still needed Prettier’s parser. So we built a hybrid setup: 🟢 oxfmt formats roughly 99% of the files 🟣 Prettier handles the remaining Angular templates The result was a full-workspace check that fell from 𝟰𝗺 𝟯𝟰𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟳.𝟴𝘀, while keeping the formatting behavior those templates require. The migration also revealed a few less obvious challenges around ignore files, import sorting, and replacing nx format as the workspace wrapper.
