Honestly, I think the reality of being so ambitious and constantly striving to do better in every aspect of our lives is that we often forget to live in the present and appreciate the journey that got us here in the first place.
The friendships, memories, and experiences we've made along the way are worth just as much as the milestones themselves.
I don't think we'll ever reach a point where we're completely satisfied. As humans, we're naturally wired to want more, and there's nothing inherently wrong with that.
But sometimes we get so caught up thinking the grass is greener on the other side that we forget how much we once wished for what we have today.
Nothing wrong with chasing the next milestone, but it's worth slowing down every once in a while and asking ourselves whether the sacrifices we're making are truly worth it.
After all, what's the point of building the life we've always wanted if we never take the time to actually live it?
