When police, fire, ambulance and Sellafield’s own emergency teams came together for a major emergency exercise at the Sellafield site, our Lancaster volunteers were there to keep everyone fuelled, serving around 200 meals throughout the day. 🚒🚓🚑 One responder told our team, “You don’t realise how fantastic you lot are.” And another said it was the best burger they’d ever had! 🍔 Thank you to every responder who trains so hard to keep our communities safe. 💙 #rrtcares

Emergency response depends on preparation, and preparation takes time and energy. @wbairambulance held a two-day training event at Swindon Fire Station, and RRT Swindon volunteers were glad to serve 80 gourmet burger meals to the emergency services staff taking part. When every second counts, the hours spent training make all the difference. #rrtcares #RapidReliefTeam

“It makes us feel seen and loved.” 💙 During A&E Appreciation Week, a coffee and a slice of cake reminded the A&E team at @MKHospital just how valued they are, even on the hardest days. To every A&E team caring for our communities, day and night: thank you. ☕ #AandEAppreciationWeek #ThankYouAandE #rrtcares #ClapforAandE

A major incident doesn’t come with a warning. That’s why exercises like this one matter. @Norfolkfire ran Exercise Ravenhurst at the Old Hellesdon Hospital site in Norwich this week, a large-scale training event putting crews through their paces across a full operational scenario. For the firefighters involved, it was a long and demanding day. Keeping teams sustained through that kind of exercise is where RRT can help, and our Norwich volunteers were delighted to serve gourmet burger meals to crews throughout. The better prepared they are, the safer our communities are. Thank you, Norfolk FRS. #rrtcares

Every young person entering construction deserves support from the very start. This week marked the official launch of a new mental health awareness programme at @Dudley_College, developed by @MatesInMind and the @WestMids_CA to equip construction apprentices with the confidence to look out for themselves and each other. RRT Birmingham volunteers were honoured to serve coffee and cakes as this important initiative got underway. #rrtcares #MatesInMind

Today, Cambridgeshire Police officers came together for a training event, and 8 RRT volunteers were on hand to serve 160 gourmet burgers to them. The High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire, whose role is to thank charities and emergency service personnel, joined us. What does it mean to feel appreciated? For A&E staff across the UK, it might just be a coffee, a cake, and a moment to breathe. These are the people who show up through the longest shifts and the hardest moments — caring for others when they need it most. They deserve to feel valued. Every single week, not just this one. RRT volunteers are out at hospitals nationwide today, honoured to play a small part in saying thank you 💙 #AandEAppreciationWeek #ThankYouAandE #rrtcares #ClapforA&E

RRT volunteers are at hospitals across the UK this week, and moments like these are exactly why we do what we do. #AandEAppreciationWeek #ThankYouAandE #rrtcares
