Gonna clear up a few things, because some people still don't seem to understand what the scene of Yhwach covering the celestial bodies represents.
"We take the first step... to which there will be no return"
first step indicates progressiveness. He will engulf the planets within the 3 realms, then the universes they all exist in.
We KNOW verbatim that the realms themselves exist as separate space-times, stated multiple times, so this BS interpretation that they exist dependently under one set flow of time in one universe makes no sense.
During the last half of the episode, we see Yhwach raise his Reiatsu, which was initially covering the ground, higher and higher as he states that he will destroy the entire cosmos.
This reinforces the idea that his next step would be to go beyond the realms' planets and affect the celestial bodies, too.
I see some stupid cope about him just reaching the stars in the sky, but on Earth it is still daytime, so that makes no sense; and if you interpret this as him literally covering the skies, then in that moment, the skies literally weren't covered.
We were shown that visual representation of Yhwach conquering the celestials of each realm to show us how strong he is - but it was never going to HAPPEN because that would literally mean the villain wins
This isn't like DB, where some superior being can magically reset the cosmos if things go Yhwach's way, it would literally just end the story with Yhwach as the winner.
In conclusion - people need to understand how a story works rather than watch it with their Agenda's on the line
