Yes, I installed 20 solar panels at my house recently. I have been able to get rid of my Blackstone griddle, both my Weber gas grill and the charcoal grill along with my Big Green Egg.
Everyday is a cookout now!

I have yet to find any dead animals on or around my solar panels after having them for a few years.
But I have had to wash the bird droppings off of them at least twice per year.
I expect the same is experienced in the US.
