Working mom and grandmother. Proudly representing Florida's 22nd Congressional District, from West Palm to Boca Raton.

My, my, my. While families are worried about paying for groceries, housing, and health care, President Trump is still relitigating the 2020 election. The facts haven't changed, the election was secure. We can’t let Trump and Republicans use lies to make it harder for people to exercise their right to vote. Read more here⬇️

The latest Ebola outbreak has killed an estimated 9,000 people, and gaps in contact tracing mean many more could still be infected. As the disease rapidly spreads throughout the DRC and Kenya, the U.S. must lead with a coordinated, expedient response. nytimes.com/interactive/2026…

This past week I joined my colleagues in co-sponsoring H.R. 10052, the Right to Worship Act.
This bill would protect worshipers, regardless of religion, from harassment, threats, and violence. Freedom of religion is one of the foundational promises of our country, and I will continue to work to protect everyone’s right to worship.

Throughout Palm Beach County, we are seeing rent, HOA fees, insurance, and other housing costs increase exponentially. These prices are not sustainable for many of our constituents living off Social Security, and many are being displaced and losing their homes. I met with local leaders and attorneys to discuss the affordability crisis in Palm Beach County and how we can invest in affordable housing.

Yesterday, I toured Cleveland Clinic’s Tomsich Health and Medical Center to learn more about its important work and their exciting plans for a new outpatient center and hospital in downtown West Palm Beach. As we welcome these investments, I will continue fighting for every family in Palm Beach County to have access to quality, affordable health care.

I’m proud to join Reps. Khanna, Landsman, and Fitzpatrick in reintroducing the Campus Accountability and Safety Act. This bill will help combat sexual abuse on college campuses by strengthening how colleges and universities prevent, report, and respond to sexual abuse. Students can’t learn if they are not safe. No student should have to fear sexual harassment, violence, or stalking while pursuing an education.

Our families shouldn’t have to bear the burden of constant aircraft noise and disruption. While I’m glad the FAA did not make the Mar-a-Lago flight restrictions permanent, the FAA must do more to protect our neighborhoods. With more than 21,000 residents affected, I’ll keep working with local leaders, the FAA, and airport officials to reduce disruption and find better solutions.

The Trump Administration’s threats to cut off internet access and limit intelligence sharing with Ukraine fuels Putin’s war of aggression. These threats are serious, we can’t look away when Elon Musk and Trump embolden Russia’s brutality and open the floodgates to more suffering. npr.org/2026/10/13/nx-s1-600…

I am heartbroken by the horrible shooting at an elementary school in Bend, Oregon. My thoughts are with the victims and their families. Elementary school students should be focused on learning and not finding a place to hide from a shooter. We must continue to support common sense gun safety legislation that will protect our children.

I’m appalled by reports of an attempted shooting at a Hindu temple near Chicago. Everyone deserves to feel safe wherever they gather to pray. I’m thinking of @CongressmanRaja, his family, and the community during this difficult time.
My family and I were worshipping at our Hindu temple in Aurora on Sunday when a white supremacist attempted a mass shooting targeting Indian Americans. I'm grateful to those who helped prevent a tragedy, but we must come together to confront the hatred that put so many innocent lives at risk.

The 340B program helps safety-net hospitals and community health centers stretch limited resources to serve more patients. We should be making it easier for these providers to deliver affordable care—not adding costly new requirements. That’s why I’m co-leading the 340B Rebate Model Delay Act with @RepBresnahan, @RepDebDingell, & @RepMann to block this new rebate policy before it takes effect.

President Trump’s bigoted and shortsighted decision to provide almost all refugee resettlement slots to white South Africans casts aside thousands of people still waiting in line - individuals and families who fled persecution, are already vetted, and deserve to start a new life here in the United States. We must continue to support those seeking refuge in our country, and give them a fair shot at a fresh start. rescue.org/press-release/us-…
