Today marks three years since Hamas launched a full-scale terrorist attack against Israel, resulting in over 1,200 people murdered, including more than 350 at the Re’im Music Festival. On this anniversary, it is important to remember the men, women, and children whose lives were taken during this heinous attack. Israel remains our most important ally in the Middle East, and we stand with them in solidarity against future violence.

Earlier today, the @FBI and @ENERGY conducted a coordinated effort to arrest an individual who allegedly exploited the trust of the U.S. Government to the benefit of a foreign terrorist organization. There is a zero tolerance policy for individuals who betray our government for the sake of terrorism and if these allegations are true, this individual should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Thank you to @FBIDirectorKash and @SecretaryWright teams for their decisive action. justice.gov/opa/pr/departmen…

Congratulations to my former Chief of Staff Jessica Carter on her recognition by @washingtonian as of one of the most powerful women in D.C! Jess is a force to be reckoned with and remains a trusted advisor. A well earned distinction!

The State of Washington supported Oregon’s and environmental groups’ litigation to increase spill and reduce power generation at dams on the Columbia and Snake Rivers, resulting in a proposed $250M surcharge from BPA. Actions have consequences. Ratepayers are footing the bill for Attorney General Brown’s insistence on attacking our dams.

Congrats to my friend, @WSDAgov Director Derek Sandison on his election as President of @NASDAnews! I look forward to working with him to elevate Washington agriculture on a national level.

Market access is key to the success of U.S. specialty crops. Thank you @IntFreshProduce for joining us at @HouseAgGOP this week to talk about the importance of programs like MAP and FMD, which have proven to be successful in establishing new markets for American producers.

On National POW/MIA Recognition Day, we honor our service members who were captured or went missing in action while defending the freedom of our Nation. We are forever in your debt, and we will never forget your sacrifice.

This week is National Clean Energy Week! I am proud to represent Central Washington, who is at the forefront of clean and all-of-the-above energy solutions. From hydropower to nuclear, you can find it here - supporting our jobs, our communities, and our future.

It was great to hear updates from @USWFS and @forestservice on the federal government’s response to wildfire. After this year’s devastating wildfire season, it is important we take a moment to reflect on the policies that worked - and what can be built upon to best protect our communities in the future. While we work to get the proper resources and support to communities in need, please stay up to date on the fires closest to you. Thank you @WestCaucusFound for having me.

On this day in 1787, our Constitution was signed in Philadelphia. After almost 240 years, the principles and beliefs of our Republic remain steadfast, a testament to our Founding Fathers and their vision for our Nation.

239 years ago today, our Founding Fathers signed the Constitution at Independence Hall in Philadelphia. 🇺🇸 On Constitution Day, we honor the enduring document that established the framework for our system of self-government and remains the foundation of our Republic.

.@RepNewhouse presses witnesses on how import controls can secure long-lasting U.S. supply chain dominance and eliminate American dependance on China.

Today, we remember and honor those we lost 25 years ago and the individuals who did not hesitate to answer the call of duty when it mattered most.

In the aftermath, America showed its resilience and unity in the face of an unimaginable tragedy.

Thank you to the brave firefighters and first responders who have worked tirelessly to bring 100% containment to the Colwash and Kaiser Canyon fires. Their hard work and dedication has saved the lives, land and livestock of countless Washingtonians. Wildfire season is not over yet, so stay updated on the wildfires close to you to be safe and prepared.

The science is clear, the gray wolf population has fully recovered. I thank @POTUS for taking a step in the right direction towards delisting this apex predator that has been wreaking havoc on ranchers in my district and across rural America. The Senate should pass the Pet and Livestock Protection Act, send the legislation to the President’s desk, and finish the job.
