I remember sitting next to @policylaila on Plank of the Week on @TalkTV when she said that no one knew who @RupertLowe10 was and @RestoreBritain wouldn't take votes from #ReformUK. I said she was talking utter nonsense. Just a few months later, we are now seeing in a head-to-head between Lowe and Farage. Lowe is ahead. It's of course one poll but Reform UK's doom-spiral was started not by bad candidates or dodgy donors but by it's hubris and startling lack of self-awareness.
