Apple not allowing Conversational AI, CarPlay apps on the HomeView is such a huge disappointment. I was ready to buy three
also just cowardly and clearly uncompetitive.
come on @johnternus @gregjoz this is stupid
hopefully dots will support actual VoIP calls soon?

Does anyone know the URL scheme for launching dots in the @ChatGPT app?
I want to launch mine, ideally into voice mode from the action button but the app doesn’t make that possible

I want the actual shortcuts icon, and I want to see the shortcuts completion progress shown in the stream deck button when tapped.
Please help Shortcuts and Stream Deck Maestros @mattcassinelli and @stephenrobles 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Beta testing #DaVinciResolve for #iPad:
This is the software I know and love from the Mac, Running on the iPad. That’s amazing.
But I’m left with the impression that it’s almost unusable without a mouse and keyboard which I find extremely disappointing.

The lack of portrait orientation support typifies the approach.
This isn’t #DaVinciResolve for iPad, this is #Resolve on #iPad
It’s simply Resolve, on a new device. Sadly no substantial thought given to how this software needed to be adapted for a touch based tablet.

#Andor is so good I’m going to start recommending it to people, in spite of it being a Star Wars show

@simonbs please reinstate the ‘Command+A’ keyboard command to select everything in a DataJar text field
And the set value shortcuts action defaults to the files app picker (it used to show shortcuts variables)

@mattcassinelli hello good sir, Am I missing a simple/obvious way to use the ‘Find Windows’ action for shortcuts on Mac to get the current active focused window?

Never mind! Figured it out, (by default it sorts by use order)
Using Shortcuts on mac is a weird vibe after all this time

Soooo. 15.4 isnt the stability release we were hoping for?
I should stay on ios14 for a while longer?
I thought this nightmare was nearly over.. but again, I’d still rather shortcuts stability than constant crashing. please advise 😊 (or discuss in the next newsletter)

@mattcassinelli did I miss something or was there no shortcuts newsletter this week?
Busy week no doubt so no stress if not, I just look forward to it for sure 😋
