Not a lawyer, but I made laws! Worked for Congress once also. Not that it matters much. I post about politics, current events & anything I find interesting.

MN US Senate has been in play for a while. and things are trending the wrong way at the wrong time for Democratic candidates in Minnesota...
Today, The Cook Political Report is moving three Senate races. Two shifts are in Democrats’ direction. One shift is toward Republicans. #SCSen: Likely R to Lean R #MSSen: Solid R to Likely R #MNSen: Likely D to Lean D Read this from @JessicaTaylor: cookpolitical.com/analysis/s…

Meanwhile, Keith Ellison... "You do a good job, man. How do I stay in touch with you, man? ls that possible?" - Keith Ellison to Hasan Piker in 2026
As Democrats, we are right to speak out when Republicans spread hateful rhetoric. We have the same responsibility when it comes from our own side. Hasan Piker’s record of hateful rhetoric is clear. Senator Omar Fateh and Congresswoman Ilhan Omar should not lend him their platform. My full statement:

Ellison and Hasan Piker are buddies now.
Hasan Piker has literally called for the assassination of the president, and said that America deserved 9/11. I’m glad that Angie Craig, who is a Democrat, spoke up. Keith Ellison on the other hand, has exchanged numbers with Piker, and Peggy Flanagan has been silent.

$72 Billion is bookkeeping losses accounting for convertible notes, with the higher company valuation. Not money out of pocket.
JUST IN: Anthropic recorded a staggering $80,000,000,000.00 net loss in the first half of 2026.

*has been happening But things are peaking at the right time for GOP candidates and that's getting noticed.
Something is happening in Minnesota right now. There is a heavy presence of national media here, starting over the last 48 hours. Something’s coming.

.@grok says that even with the recent increase in gas prices, this number for 2026 is still at a dramatically improved 1.42 (down from the 2025 number of 1.52). Gas is much cheaper for us now than it was for our grandparents.
Since 1950, the time price of gasoline for US blue-collar workers has fallen by 35%. For the time it took to earn enough money to buy a gallon of gasoline in 1950, a blue-collar worker in 2025 could buy 1.54 gallons. humanprogress.org/gasoline-a…

I fixed a typo so @grok reply is stuck on the original post. Here's a link
Replying to @SNienow
Yes, the time-price math holds. At today's ~$4.28/gal and blue-collar hourly pay near $33, a worker still gets far more gallons per hour of work than in 1950. Markets and better tech keep raising real abundance even when the sticker price rises.

"There are currently no ad reservations placed by the DSCC for Peggy Flanagan" NRSC:
🚨 BREAKING: The NRSC just dropped ad reservations for Michele Tafoya in Minnesota. Last week, I said this was coming with @LarryOConnor and @townhallcom. There are currently no ad reservations placed by the DSCC for Peggy Flanagan. 👀

I've been cranking all day on this. Some things are so important that they need to be explored in depth, and in real time. The shocking revelations from Data Republican regarding the plot to overthrow our Constitution is such a thing and now is such a time. We are facing a color revolution. This article explains how color revolutions have worked overseas in the past at the hands of the CIA and USAID, and how those now ex-USAID employees, now ensconced in well-funded NGOs, are currently using the same tactics against our own nation. It's a long article, almost 2,500 words. If you care about this, please read. It's a very complex set of concepts, and takes more than a few words to explain adequately. Thanks.

Apparently these were fake polls. I don't even want to think about how much damage this "Wedgewood" experiment did. They released fake numbers and probably hurt real candidates. Completely unethical research.

President Trump says Tim Walz is GUILTY of knowing everything about the massive Somali fraud scandal in Minnesota. “The governor is 100% guilty. He’s 100% guilty. He’s a fraud, he’s a thief, he’s a crook, and he’s getting away by just getting out of office.” “He knew everything that was happening.” The whole world knows Tim Walz is guilty.

I asked Grok to find an Ojibwe name for me based on my 𝕏 posts.... Debwewinini (roughly “the one who tells the truth” / “Truth Man”). "From your recent 𝕏 posts (heavy focus on Minnesota fraud under Walz/Flanagan/Ellison/Klobuchar, calls for whistleblowers, sarcasm about “can’t hear you” on scandals, defenses of family/Thanksgiving gatherings against overreach, and general conservative commentary on current events), a recurring theme is calling out what you see as falsehoods, corruption, and hypocrisy in plain language. That maps well onto the Anishinaabe concept of debwe (“s/he tells/speaks the truth”) and debwewin (“truth”), one of the Seven Grandfather Teachings. Debwewinini is a straightforward descriptive compound along those lines (“truth + man”). Zhaawanart"
