If South Carolina hadn’t blown double digit leads against Kentucky and Miss State, they’re easily a Top 5 team.
I’m also not certain that if they aren’t spiraling off a blown lead that the Bama game isn’t closer.
Beamer and Sellers live off momentum (both good and bad)
Cocktober is not only back, but we are facing the very real possibility of a 7-3 South Carolina welcoming Georgia into town with a CFP bid on the line.
Reasons I think South Carolina (5-3) deserves to be in the CFP top 25 convo Tuesday nite:
1) Two ranked victories (Florida, Tennessee).
2) Dylan Stewart missed OT loss to Kentucky, which is a key player data point.
3) Few have looked the part like this team the last 3 weeks.
Since speculation began that he'd be benched, LaNorris Sellers over his last three games ...
W Florida: 299 yards total offense, 5 TDs
W Tennessee: 306 yards total offense, 3 TDs
W Oklahoma: 394 yards total offense, 5 TDs
Have we ever seen a Brent Venables defense get diced up this badly?
South Carolina doing whatever they want on their way to a blowout win over the Sooners.
