NEW INVESTIGATION: Did Soros Foundation Money Travel Through Charities Into the 2024 Presidential Race? Full investigation with receipts 🔗whitecollarfraud.com/2026/06… Money you can deduct on your taxes is supposed to fund charity, not campaigns. Here's a trail that runs from a tax-deductible donation to a presidential super PAC — entirely on public IRS returns. The rule it tests is simple. A 501(c)(3) charity takes deductible dollars but can't spend on politics. A 501(c)(4) can spend on politics but offers no deduction. So when charitable money passes from a (c)(3), through intermediary charities, into a (c)(4) that spends it on campaigns, a tax-deductible dollar has been turned into political spending. That is the line §4955 of the tax code exists to police — and the intermediaries here are two charitable networks, Arabella and Tides. Here's where the returns say the money went. Two George Soros private foundations sent $92,465,850 to the Arabella charities — New Venture, Hopewell, and Windward. Those same charities moved $343,967,196 to the Sixteen Thirty Fund, a 501(c)(4) political arm. On a separate path, a Soros foundation routed money through the Tides Foundation, which sent $842,000 directly across the charitable-to-political line into that same fund. Two further routes added more: Open Society Policy Center, a Soros-affiliated 501(c)(4), gave $68,150,000 directly, and Tides Advocacy, another Soros-linked political fund, added $4,169,700. In all, $417,128,896 reached the Sixteen Thirty Fund. Now the last step. The Sixteen Thirty Fund and an affiliated political fund sent $13,739,642 to a federal super PAC — about 59% of its itemized receipts. The PAC spent $19,799,415 naming federal candidates, including $12,718,076 supporting the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee. That closes the chain: charity → charity → political fund → super PAC → the presidential race. A tax-deductible foundation dollar at the top. Federal campaign spending at the bottom. Every rung on a public return. Every step is permissible in isolation. A foundation may grant to a charity; a charity may grant to a 501(c)(4); a 501(c)(4) may spend on politics. But assembled from the returns, the sequence shows tax-deductible foundation dollars moving step by step toward candidate-directed federal spending. The question the rules exist to answer: were charitable assets, in substance, converted into political campaign spending? Only the IRS can see the grant agreements and donor records that settle it — and the findings have been referred there. I'm a forensic accountant and a registered Democrat. I follow the documents, not the politics. Every figure here is from the organizations' own IRS returns. Full chain, line by line, with sources: 🔗whitecollarfraud.com/2026/06…

The FBI raids NYC adult day care centers suspected of Medicaid fraud. Where’s NY Attorney General Letitia James? Her Medicaid Fraud Control Unit ranked 51st out of 51 jurisdictions in criminal indictments and convictions per dollar of Medicaid spending from 2019–2025, according to an Empire Center analysis of federal data. Before James took office, the unit averaged over 100 criminal indictments annually. From 2021–2025, just nine. The state reportedly referred numerous adult day care providers to her office for investigation. As of 8 AM this morning, October 21, I could find no public comment from James or her office specifically addressing the raids. Which providers were referred to her office? When? What did her office do about them? Were any among the businesses the FBI just raided? James owes New Yorkers an accounting. Cc @NewYorkStateAG @TishJames

It's time to fight FIRE with FIRE.

Shekar Krishnan, you’re leaving out some important numbers. According to NYPD and MTA records, comparing January–September 2026 with the same period in 2019: • Subway ridership is down 22.9%. • Violent felonies are up 25.9%. • Violent felonies per million rides are up 63.3%. • Total major felonies per million rides are up 19%. And violent crime per ride is up 7.4% compared with the same period in 2025 as originally reported. You’re celebrating lower crime totals while ignoring how many fewer people are riding the subway. I compiled the numbers directly from NYPD and MTA records. They’re attached. You can argue politics all you want. You don’t get to leave out the denominator.
Subway ridership is up, and subway crime is the lowest in 16 years. That’s @KathyHochul's record of delivering for us. Bruce Blakeman’s record is stoking fear and division. He's using the same old MAGA playbook that is failing across the country. nytimes.com/2026/09/30/us/po…

.@SenatorSlotkin, I get threats all the time. My response? The line is 30 years long. Take a number and wait your turn. I don’t cry about it or make myself out to be a martyr. You called for a “deterrence message” aimed at young people considering jobs in the Trump administration. Now you’re complaining about authoritarian tactics designed to intimidate people into silence. Threats are unacceptable. But criticism, ridicule, and outrage aren’t threats just because you don’t like them. You’re a United States Senator. People have every right to call you out for what you say and do. That’s not authoritarianism. That’s accountability. You can stand up to criticism without turning yourself into a victim.
How do authoritarian tactics work? The goal is to create so many threats against you, your family, and your staff that you shut up. They wanna manufacture outrage. They all start repeating the same talking points. The goal is to crush your spirit. That fear becomes contagious. We can't let it.

.@NYCMayor Mamdani, you celebrate disability rights and promise a more accessible NYC. Yet you’re making NYC into an increasingly ableist city. Many New Yorkers with disabilities cannot ride bicycles. They depend on cars, taxis, and accessible vehicles to get to doctors, work, and other essential destinations. Bike lanes can also make curbside access and passenger drop-offs more difficult. And cyclists who ignore traffic laws put disabled pedestrians at risk. You can’t claim to champion accessibility while ignoring the needs of people who cannot ride bicycles. That’s not disability inclusion. It’s ableism dressed up as progressive transportation policy.
On April 5, 1977, people with disabilities occupied government buildings across the country with simple demands: access to education, jobs, and public spaces. It has been fifty years since the Section 504 sit-ins, but the fight for those with disabilities continues. This weekend, New Yorkers with disabilities and their neighbors marched and rolled in the annual Disability Pride Parade to honor that fight — and celebrate the city New Yorkers with disabilities have helped build.  Whether it's through accessible bus stops or expanded school curriculums, our administration will continue to work towards a city where disability does not signify limitation.

.@RepRobertGarcia, when Trump investigates political opponents, you call it weaponization of government. When you announce plans to investigate Trump and his family, you call it oversight. In your November 19, 2025 letter to FHFA Director Bill Pulte, you accused his agency of political weaponization and singled me out by name for my work investigating Letitia James. I offered to testify publicly under oath. Now you’re promising investigations of Trump family corruption. I’m all for investigating corruption. But the evidence doesn’t become legitimate or illegitimate depending on which political party is under investigation. The same standard should apply to everybody. Including Letitia James.
Oversight Democrats will focus on taking on Trump family corruption and the abuses of ICE and DHS. There are serious allegations of pay-to-play schemes that must be investigated.

Maybe in your quest to end violence you could stop hanging around with guys who were arrested for domestic violence. @ZohranKMamdani @JumaaneWilliams
We prevent violence by directly listening to those who experience it. For years, the Crisis Management System (CMS) has successfully reduced crime across our city by empowering trusted community leaders to mediate conflict and lower tensions before violence can occur. That's why our administration's Office of Community Safety is expanding CMS to Bushwick, Harlem, Washington Heights and Inwood through a $4.8 million investment. The absence of crime is only possible with the presence of support. That's our administration's vision for public safety.

.@RepRobertGarcia Put me first on your subpoena list. You already named me in an official congressional letter and demanded communications involving me and FHFA Director Bill Pulte concerning my investigation of Letitia James. I challenged you to subpoena me then. You never did. My offer still stands. Public hearing. Cameras rolling. Under oath. No immunity. No conditions. I’ll bring the original mortgage documents, property records, financial disclosures and the rest of my evidence. And while you’re at it, subpoena Letitia James. Put us both under oath and ask us the same questions. You know where to find me.
There's plenty of corruption to go around. When we take back the House, we will be laser focused on the Trump family and corporate corruption, DHS and ICE misconduct, and getting justice for the Epstein survivors. rollingstone.com/politics/po…

HEY @GovKathyHochul WHY DO YOU LIE? Hochul boasted that New York had its "lowest crime rates it's had in modern history." In 2025, the state's crime rate for index crimes was higher than every year between 2016 and 2021. The violent crime rate in 2025 was higher than every year between 2017 and 2020.

Sen. Slotkin, enough with the schoolyard “bromance” nonsense. In May 2021, Biden waived sanctions on the company building Russia’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline. In 2022, Biden’s Treasury deliberately allowed Russian oil to keep flowing into world markets under a price cap. Both decisions were defended as serving American interests. Did Biden want Putin to win, too? You can criticize Trump’s sanctions decisions without pretending you know what’s inside his head. Try applying the same standard to both presidents.
President Trump has always had a bromance with Vladimir Putin, and it’s clear he wants him to win this winter in Ukraine. So now he's lifting sanctions to help fuel Vladimir Putin and his war machine.

.@RoKhanna, millions of young people struggle to pay their bills. They don’t go around looting stores and setting buildings on fire. You condemn the violence, then immediately demonize billionaires and frame economic despair as a cause of the unrest. That kind of rhetoric can help promote or justify violence by portraying a class of people as responsible for society’s problems. Recent reporting has also raised questions about outside funding and support for groups involved in unrest in France. Before attributing the violence to economic frustration, what evidence do you have that the people committing these crimes were motivated by the conditions you describe? You’re a congressman. You should know the difference between explaining criminal behavior and making excuses for it.
Young people can’t afford a house, a decent job, or even gas while the billionaire class keeps growing richer at a faster pace than ever before. I condemn violence and rioting in every form. But the despair and deep discontent among young people right now is impossible to ignore.

.@MarkLevineNYC Six days ago, you urged Anthropic to delay its IPO over AI safety concerns. In September, you warned NYC wasn’t ready for AI disruption, including threats to jobs and the economy. Now you’re celebrating Databricks doubling its Manhattan R&D hub. AI companies are good news for NYC. But what standards are you applying to the companies you celebrate versus the companies you publicly pressure?
.@databricks, one of the world’s largest AI companies, is doubling the size of its R&D hub in Manhattan. In an extraordinary blog post they explain why: “New York isn't just catching up to the Bay Area in tech; it's carving out its own identity as a major AI metropolis.”

.@GovKathyHochul is helping bail out seven financially troubled New York cities. Every single one has a Democratic mayor. Not one Republican-led city among them. We’re talking about approximately $4.25 billion in state financial assistance and budget actions. New York City: $4 billion. Buffalo, Yonkers, Albany, Rochester, Syracuse and Mount Vernon: another $252 million combined. Some are still raising taxes or proposing increases despite receiving additional state assistance. And who helps pay for this? Taxpayers across New York State, including those living in Republican-led communities. To be clear, Republican-led municipalities receive ordinary state aid, too. But all seven cities singled out for these major budget-gap assistance packages are run by Democrats. Look at the attached table. I’ve broken down the assistance by city, population and dollars per resident. Hochul and these mayors owe taxpayers an explanation. Why do these cities need extraordinary assistance? What are they doing to fix their recurring budget problems? And what happens when the money runs out? You can’t keep plugging recurring budget holes with temporary money and pretend you’ve fixed anything.

. @GovPritzker, congratulations on handing out 24 awards for educational excellence. According to the federal government’s 2024 assessment, only 30% of Illinois fourth-graders were proficient in reading. Recognizing excellent schools is fine. But handing out awards is a hell of a lot easier than improving the education kids are getting. How about celebrating results?
After the federal government ended the Blue Ribbon Schools program last year, Illinois stepped in and established our own. Here, we believe that educational excellence should be celebrated. Today, I’m proud to recognize 24 schools as the Governor’s Blue Ribbon Schools for 2026.

Very good take on the insane anti-@bariweiss (no relation) psychosis in the media generally as well as at CBS News. Every leaked audio, every ideological attack, proves that the media requires a hundred or maybe a thousand Bari Weisses----if it's not too late.
The point Jeremy makes is funny and accurate. That said I agree with @PuckNews's underlying premise. Look at the stuff that animates the discussion about @bariweiss: She demands a bit more evenhandedness; she demands reporters get comments from the White House; her bureau chief tells people they should stop incessantly leaking, be part of the new team or leave. Oh wait, she doesn't think Israel is committing genocide. The attacks are all BS coming from people in a business where the politics is largely conformist and progressive and above all, hurting from a biz standpoint. She's offering a slightly different approach to appeal to more viewers, not radically different based on all available evidence. Show me a story -- a real story --she throttled on Trump before saying she's in the tank for the administration, as the critics allege. You cant, which means she's being attacked for bringing allegedly heterodox views to news coverage, ie non woke, which for most Americans see as centrist

.@RoKhanna, Obama says it’s important to know the facts. Then he declares Ilhan Omar law-abiding, the allegations unsubstantiated, the evidence nonexistent, and the investigation political retaliation. How the hell does he know? Federal agents obtained a search warrant authorized by a judge. A grand jury issued subpoenas. Obama hasn’t seen the evidence collected by investigators. Neither have you. Yet both of you have already decided what the evidence shows and why the investigation is happening. That’s not following the facts. That’s deciding the outcome before examining the evidence. And you have the nerve to lecture the rest of us about the rule of law.
Thank you President @BarackObama for this.

That's a wrap on Follow the Money. Over five posts, I went through every campaign finance filing for Governor @KathyHochul, Attorney General @TishJames and Comptroller @TomDiNapoli. I included my own for balance, because if you're going to ask questions about other people's money, you should answer them about yours. Here's what I learned: in Albany, the same donors, lobbyists and industries fund the people who are supposed to check each other. The Governor awards the contracts. The Comptroller signs off on them. The Attorney General polices them. And the same checkbooks pay for all three. That's not a watchdog. That's a club. The Comptroller's job is to protect your money: your pension fund, your Medicaid dollars, your MTA fare. That only works if the Comptroller answers to you, not to the people being audited. I'm running funded by thousands of New Yorkers giving $10, $25 and $50, with no lobbyists and no strings. Everything I posted comes from public BOE filings. Don't take my word for it. Check it yourself. Early voting starts October 24. Election Day is November 3.
