Wow, wow, wow. I just left the National Press Club where Minister of Communications @AnikaWells spoke. She repeatedly and brazenly lied about the fake accounts, claiming they were only for enforcement, even though the legislation says in black and white that the eSafety Commissioner can use them in unlimited ways for "educational" and "promotional" purposes. One big moment came when a Politico reporter got up and said something about how mean people like @PaulineHansonOz were to eSafety Commissioner Julie Inman-Grant. Seriously. A supposed reporter was white-knighting for a government official during the official Q&A. The same reporter had come up to me before Wells' speech and asked if I had criticized Inman-Grant. Who needs government censors when you have Politico? After he asked his question, Wells showed the most emotion, describing online criticism of Inman-Grant as "abuse." She also talked about her own staff's supposed suffering. I kid you not. The mask dropped, and you could see what really upset her: people — including a sitting Senator — criticizing government officials. After gaslighting the audience about fake accounts, Wells repeatedly insisted the government wasn't trying to censor content. She said this after filling her speech with examples of content she claimed harmed people. You couldn't make it up. This legislation is the culmination of decades of progressives equating words with physical violence. Wells cynically compared her legislation to prevent psychological "harm" to various laws that protect people from physical harm, like seat belt laws. BTW, Wells never said what content it was that she thought caused eating disorders. Pictures of skinny women? Dietary advice? Who knows. Nobody asked. Another important moment came when Wells explicitly said Australia would be pursuing censorship alongside other nations, including the UK, France, and Spain—all countries where governments risk losing power to populists. I spoke with Julie Inman-Grant before the speech began and asked about the fake accounts. She insisted they were there just for enforcement, and when I asked why the law allowed them to be used for government propaganda, she said she might write an "enforcement memo," which, of course, would have no impact on the legislation. After her speech, I went up to Wells and asked if she was seriously saying the legislation didn't allow the government to use fake accounts for government propaganda. She refused to answer. A man who said he was from the National Press Club stepped in front of me and said I could interview her afterward. But that wasn't possible because they rushed her out the back to avoid any difficult questions. So there you have it. The pettiest people in Australia are seeking to silence citizens and their political opponents in the name of protecting children. These deeply intolerant and cynical people want to control what you can see and say online. And they're doing it with most of the media's support. Australia has reached a new low in its rapid descent into dogmatism, intolerance, and censorship.

Once again the @AustralianLabor regime and its communist leader @AlboMP looking to jail anyone who doesnt agree with him or challenges his regime..... 🤔 where have we seen this sort of behaviour before. These people belong in prison. #auspol #censorship
On the day that Labor's social media laws are being debated in the Senate, they have just tabled a bunch of amendments that: - give the eSafety Commissioner the power to summons people* - make them take an oath and answer all questions - removes the protection against self-incrimination - if you don't comply you can be fined $364,000 (1000 penalty units) sent to jail for 12 months *if you are a journalist you are exempt.

Not once has @Channel9 apologised for interviewing lying Anthony Fauci not once, but twice on 3AW, because it suited a narrative. Not once has @Channel9 mentioned a report into the rape of over 250,000 woman and children being raped in the UK by Migrant Rape Gangs. But they have relentlessly tried to destroy our greatest ever Australian Soldier, through constant hit pieces. Boycott this government propaganda network. #freekarl #media #auspol

Western society is currently divided between people who know this is a man and are prepared to say so and those who know this is a man but lie out of obedience to an ideology. There is no third option. Literally nobody on earth thinks "Roxanne Tickle" is actually a woman.

Absolute gutless wonders at @theage. Comments off of course. Anyone heard a story of how much the "independent" left wing teals get thrown at them by the same left wing billionaire? No, me neither, wonder why that is? #auspol

The woke right in a nutshell. They know they're being played, but just like the radical left that they despise, with thier DEI, Trans and Climate Cult, they're so embedded in the cult of "its Isreal" "its mossad" they cant bring themselves to think for themselves. #woke
Joe Kent resigned. Then went on the Tucker Carlson show. Then went and spoke at a “Catholic” event with Candace Owens. Now he is on Megyn Kelly’s show….. TOTALLY organic and not planned at all🤷🏼‍♂️

Have a listen to this Left wing Grub that turns comments off. If Pauline was to point out that all Indians work at service stations and drive ubers. The sterotyping, racist card would be full bore, even though its an "inconvenient truth" #malinauskas for example can call immigrants ass wipers, no consequences. When the left head down the racist path to justify a scheme to continue election fraud, through implementing the "great replacement theory" its purely facts! #SA #election #auspol #onenation #paulinehanson

Media Release: One Nation to oppose Labor's rushed hate Bill Labor’s proposed law to combat antisemitism could see a person jailed for up to five years for saying Australia’s the greatest country in the world. One Nation leader Senator Pauline Hanson said Labor’s Bill, to be debated at an early sitting of Parliament next week, would be an unworkable mess. “We don’t need new laws to protect Australians from antisemitism,” Senator Hanson said. “We need to enforce existing laws, something the Albanese government – to its eternal shame – didn’t do to protect Jewish Australians from antisemitism. “This bill has been very rushed, with only a day or so allowed for Parliamentary debate and a snap Senate committee inquiry that’s barely hours long. I’m reminded of the many changes made to legislation to address the problem of immigration detainees, and how Labor repeatedly got it wrong. I have no confidence this legislation – which amends the criminal code along with 15 other laws and eight regulations, and throws in a $1 billion gun buyback – will be any better. It will be a mess. Australians could be stripped of their freedom of speech and opinion, and their ability to express pride in their culture and nationality. “This bill is fraught with all sorts of potential unintended consequences, which is always what happens when you use subjective language in legislation that is open to differing interpretations. For example, you could even go to prison for saying Australia’s the best country in the world because it could be interpreted as ‘disseminating ideas of superiority’. “One Nation is going to oppose this bill. We will not support punishing law-abiding firearm owners as a scapegoat for Anthony Albanese’s failure to check rising antisemitism; we already have the toughest gun laws in the world. “We will not support a vaguely-worded law that could put Australians in jail for making a patriotic statement. I very much fear Australia is heading down a path where we become like the United Kingdom, where police come to people’s homes and take them to jail for a social media post. I know Albanese would love that, because he’s so terrified of free speech, but One Nation will not stand for it. “One Nation is prepared to act decisively to protect Australians from radical Islamic terrorism, but this isn’t the way. I call on all of my fellow members of Parliament to oppose this legislation until we can get it right.”
