There’s something SO relaxing about annotating a poem ahead of teaching it.
Old Tongue is just heavenly.
I think S4 will really enjoy this one tomorrow 🏴

🏴 Happy #BurnsNight 🏴
For many, Burns Night is a time to savour traditions while celebrating our national bard and First Minister @HumzaYousaf is encouraging us to embrace our Scottish connections.
ALT Quote graphic First Minister Humza Yousaf said: "The work of Robert Burns was instrumental in paving the way to solidifying the individual Scottish identity. Democracy and compassion feature heavily in his writing, and with unrest throughout the world it’s never been more important to reflect on his words while enjoying our freedom."
