We’re super excited to see how devs are using ShapesXR to build better apps!
During the Meta Presence Platform Hackathon 2024, Kore Meta used ShapesXR to rapidly design and validate spatial gameplay for Multiverse Kaitenzushi — a mixed reality game where players learn the Japanese alphabet while becoming sushi chefs.
Under intense time pressure, the team needed to turn 2D wireframes into 3D layouts and test spatial interactions, but traditional Unity workflows were too slow and don’t allow to feel the scale, reach, object flow, and user perspective fast enough.
With ShapesXR, Kore Meta white-boxed the gameplay environment options quickly and the entire team stepped inside their ideas. They met in the same 3D space and evaluated distance, visibility, and user comfort in real time. This helped to make decisions on the spot with no delay and experiment freely through no-code iteration.
This workflow contributed to the project being selected as a Top 3 Finalist in the Skill Building Category at the Meta Presence Platform Hackathon 2024.
