Apple ships a secret multimodal node-graph editor with every copy of iOS!
Looks to be some internal node-graph editor used for prototyping image/video pipelines with AI. Has multiple backends (CoreImage/AVAssetRender, Gemini "Floodgate Proxy", FLUX, and formerly ComfyUI).
The "Nodes" engine is what processes the pipeline, with NodeUI being the editor.

Apple has just shipped software for the HomeView. New platform, new launcher: HomeView doesn’t run SpringBoard, PineBoard, or SoundBoard, it runs a new launcher called BreadBoard. It also has a dedicated process for its Control Center UI called CupBoard.

How on earth do you get app intent enums to render custom icons properly in shortcuts. System symbols look fine, but custom symbols seem to be treated differently.
This causes major issues when in different appearances, as shown in the pic below.

I like developing for macOS, partially because of the existence of "legacy" conceptual documentation that just isn't present for other platforms.
It's also cool to be able to compile code older than I am, and see it run unmodified on the latest OS (albeit not without issues)

Despite the obvious choice, the former is more fun to build than one would likely expect
