Talked with Jordan Ott also about moving their 5's around, spacing them differently offensively. How that helps unlock their non-5 splits (getting to both matchup hunting & rim pressure from it) & how the 5 as an outlet external of primary action, adds latest. Fun look into a key development for their halfcourt offensive process. (This is a part in why Miles Bridges' addition is so important for the Suns.)

Chet Holmgren (Right Patella Tendinitis), Cason Wallace (Left Shoulder Soreness), & Jalen Williams (Left Lower Leg) are all OUT for Oklahoma City tonight. They're also on backend of a B2B.

Except in Lamar Jackson’s case.

Enjoying the Utah Jazz Experience. Going to be annoying (especially in SLC). Starting lineup finding it's way. Everyone is playing like they have an opportunity and they believe.

After a weekend of nonstop frantic discussions and negotiation, Game 6 of the WNBA Finals will be played Thursday at 12:30 pm at 17,000-seat State Farm Arena in Atlanta, sources told ESPN. The Atlanta Hawks-Cleveland Cavaliers game that night will move back to 8 pm to accommodate the doubleheader, just as the Hawks did for Game 4. This allows a potential Game 7 to remain scheduled for Halloween at Chase Center in San Francisco. All three Finals games in Atlanta have required hurried adjustments to the schedule at State Farm Arena. It took collective efforts from the WNBA, NBA, the Hawks, State Farm Arena, Dream, Valkyries and broadcast partners to figure out the best course of action again. By moving the game earlier in the day, the WNBA avoided a scenario where a potential championship game was played inside the Dream’s home arena, the 3,500 seat Gateway Center. The other option under strong consideration was moving Game 6 to an open date at State Farm Arena on Friday and Game 7 to an open date at Chase Center on Tuesday, November 3.

People take for granted just how hard it is to win in the NBA on a nightly basis. Even if/when a team is on a B2B, or 3rd game in 4 nights, or there's injuries... there aren't any teams that'll be "easy" wins. That's gotta be factored into the "they barely won" discourse.

Gratitude doesn’t mean everything’s perfect. Life can change in an instant & our time here is limited. Even when things are hard, there’s always something worth appreciating. Love your people, cherish the “ordinary” moments and never take any of it for granted. Happy Monday 💚

Inbox: The Valley Suns have announced their Training Camp roster. That includes Koby Brea & Kennedy Chandler, + guys that were on their 2026 Summer League roster (Sam Hoiber, Corey Camper Jr.) Media day is this Wednesday.

The small ball lineups used on Saturday, got the Suns to Inverted PnR's (!) between Miles Bridges & Collin Gillespie. Can see how Miles & Collin are natural partners (for multiple reasons). They'll grow with more reps here but I'm intrigued by: • hitting Miles as trailer & flowing into rep 1 -> the pull-up 3 (!) as an option for Miles • rep 2 failed but it's a great early rep as Miles has to attack the small there to string coverage out — is it a show & recover? If so, can Miles forcr it into a late-switch? Does Miles' original check put 2 to the ball? Patience there will get them more options/production • Peep Collin screening his own on rep 3, allowing Miles to turn the corner vs loose coverage & get to the line There's *a lot* on the table for them with this PnR pairing, & I'm curious when they get to these while Khaman or Oso are on the floor. Layers to their attack.

Top of tha TOP, let's work 🏁

The reckless abandon defensive playmaking from Ryan Dunn is what the Phoenix Suns need 📈📈📈 Multiple efforts, force, anticipation.

As a Phoenician first and life long Suns fan second and a former Suns player third, I’m sure REAL Suns fans would agree that Book is the reason we keep watching and rooting for this squad. Tonight was a perfect Book game!! Many more to come!

Nuggets rookie Trevon Brazile just had one of the best games from a rookie so far this season. 17 PTS, 9 REB, 2 BLK, 6/11 FG, 3/7 3FG, 67 TS% 35th pick in the draft.

The Grizzlies are fun, & so is Ty Jerome.

Fun ATO from the Sixers, for Maxey. Empty a side, bunch the weakside spacing to hold the help, get Maxey downhill. Handback's to punish high pick-up points >>> they hit different when it's just LeBron James as your handoff partner, too. Also, don't overlook the craft from him, finishing around the cup. Wrong-footed gather + the touch putting it high off the glass. His game is *complete*.

...right into Jalen Suggs going down. please turn injuries off.

Also, it's been fun to watch Tyrese Maxey defend this season. Nick Nurse has some fun chess pieces to work with defensively. Getting these types of efforts & buy-in from Maxey blended with the process stuff they can get to, has my attention.

Tyrese Maxey may have the best change of pace in the league. Watch his patience in transition here, making Reed commit to Wade first, then switching gears to the off-hand dunk.

Alyssa Thomas: cooler than a cooler, fr 😮‍💨😎

Roquan Smith’s response when asked about not playing up to the franchise’s standard of defense:
