The Insure Our Communities Act (S00186) not only protects folks in climate-vulnerable areas & ensures affordability for property owners—it holds insurance companies responsible for insuring & investing in the fossil fuel projects causing the climate crisis in the first place.
The @NYSenate holds a hearing today on home insurance, where rates are rising & greedy insurance companies fuel climate change.
