Brandon Alderson, from Sunderland, UK, was travelling to work when he noticed a man in distress in a layby.
He pulled over and saw that the man was suffocating. Brandon performed the Heimlich manoeuvre six times and saved the man's life.

Did you know that, in the UK, 1 in 5 adults live with a disability, and a whopping 80% of these are the kind you can’t see?
Think chronic pain, mental health ups and downs, or the unique ways some brains are wired.

One week on… ❤️
I honestly can’t believe it’s already a week since we celebrated 15 years of Autism’s Got Talent whoop!
Today I went along to Leake Street to see the mural that the lovely Piluca created for our 15th year celebration for Autism’s Got Talent.
I had seen the photo, but it’s completely different when you are actually standing there looking at it. Lisa , Steven and I were so pleased to see it for ourselves .
Piluca and I had a good chat and Anne Marie created a little video talking about the mural and the story behind it.
After such a busy few weeks, it was lovely to finish the week like this.
Fifteen years of performers, families, friendships, laughter, a few nerves and sooo many many lovely memories.
I am still taking it all in if I am honest.
Thank you Piluca for adding another very special memory to our Autism’s Got Talent story. ❤️
Right… I think I might actually Take 5 this weekend well you know what I mean ! 😂

Yesterday I visited Leake Street in Waterloo to finally see Piluca’s beautiful mural in person, created to celebrate 15 years of Autism’s Got Talent. 💜
The photos are lovely, but standing there and seeing it for myself was something else.
So many memories wrapped up in those 15 years.
It was also a special day for Alistair, a good friend of our charity, as it was his debut at Leake Street with his creation ‘Blanke’.
We first introduced Blanke at our Autism and Art Show at the Firepit Gallery, so it was lovely to see his work there too.
I could not resist buying a Peaky Blinders Blanke to support our charity. I absolutely love it! ❤️
Lisa and I had such a lovely afternoon , surrounded by talented people, good people and plenty of creativity.
Sometimes you just have to stop for a moment and take it all in.
Thank you Piluca and Alistair for supporting Anna Kennedy Online and being part of our journey. 💜
Thank you Anne Marie for the great photos and to Steven for being part of the AKO family throughout the years.
Have a good weekend everyone 🥰

Great to support and work with club DAO Hayley by delivering these cards which will be used by the DLOs, and will also be in the ticket office and club shop.
These can help so many supporters, including non- verbal, autistic, dementia plus many other conditions.
I just told my wife about the amazing @bushby3000 Karl Bushby who walked across the world in 28 years.
She asked how he got to and from Australia. I said he didn’t do Australia.
“Well, he didn’t walk across the world then”

If we're lucky, we'll all grow old.
The care home you ignore today may be the one you need tomorrow.
The hospice you don't support may one day care for someone you love.
How we treat older people isn't somebody else's problem.
We're building our own future.

Today, think of my boys, even just for a moment, 18 years old and no spoken words, accept them, include them, speak to them, just because they can’t speak doesn’t mean they don’t understand 💙💙
My wife just said it must feel weird for Melanie Walters — Gwen from Gavin & Stacey — having her “old co‑star” judging her on Strictly.
She meant @TheAntonDuBeke . Sorry Rob Brydon.
She’s basically invented a whole new BBC multiverse and I’m just nodding like this is normal.
