14th century house, 17th century cello, 18th century bow, 19th century piano, and even a chance to see an original letter recently discovered in the attic from Mendelssohn to a singer who once lived here! Beethoven, Schubert & Mendelssohn w/@Melvynbetan Thank you @musicatmalling

Brilliant. When I run workshops it's amazing how their faces light up when they create something themselves. This is exactly the kind of music education more young people should get to experience

Fantastic day @NTIghthamMote yesterday inspired by Deborah Pritchard - Inside Colour. A whole class group from @OffhamPrimary created a poem and music about the Northern Lights. 🎶
They also rehearsed and performed In C by @TerryRiley_info learning to play in an ensemble, listen and be creative!
Inspiring day! 😀

Here is my article about the arts and how the creative industries could potentially create growth in every postcode…or is it just another case of “Here, there, everywhere and nowhere…” I hope not.
