Most fungal pathogens of trees fruit in the autumn🍂.
However, there are a few, such as this Dryads Saddle that fruit earlier in the year.
Understanding the relationship between tree 🌳 and #fungi 🍄 is a key skill in diagnosis of #treehealth.

If possible we leave dead wood where it does not get in the way, but where it can ooze nutrients back into the soil for the next generation. This log is humming with insects🐜, animals🐀, plants🌿, algae🤢, bacteria and fungi🍄.

Let's make an #InsectHotel 🐜!
1. Cut the ends off a large plastic bottle 🍶
2. Push a string ➰ through the tube and tie into a loop
3. Fill the tube tightly with thin straight sticks〰️
4. Hang up 🦋 and watch the insects 🐞 move in! 🐛.

We expect trees to stay green in the summer, unless there is a drought. There are other reasons for yellowing leaves, such as a leaf disease or a pest infestation. If you are concerned about your trees' health give us a call. 🤙0800 2983686

Did you know that trees 🌳 don't heal the way humans 🤕 do? They seal.
Damaged trees form a callus by growing around a wound. Although the result can be very strong, the wound will always remain within the tree. Call us for advice.

This large Beech 🌳 tree's enormous cavity and associated dead wood is heaven for a range of bats 🦇, bugs🐜, beasties🐛, moss and fungi 🍄.
We try to leave dead or dying trees in place whenever we can. So good for the environment.

When trees 🌳 are fall or professionally felled, their stumps should be removed to prevent problems. At TR33 we prefer to finish the job by removing the stump at the same time.

The nesting season for birds in the UK is within February and August. No matter when we do it, at TR33 we are very careful not to prune or trim trees and bushes where wildlife is breeding.🐣
