Throughout this week, members of TPD are visiting local schools to read to students as part of United Way of the Big Bend’s Read “UNITED” Week! 📚
We’re proud to join in encouraging a love of reading, connecting with young learners and supporting literacy across Tallahassee.

Thank you to the Leon County Sheriff's Office for hosting the 10th Annual Patrol Stroll and bringing our community together to raise awareness in the fight against breast cancer.

Ten years of walking with purpose and making a difference! 💕
We have some exciting news to share!
TPD's Hometown Heroes video series has earned an Emmy Award nomination!
Hometown Heroes goes beyond the badge to share the stories of the men and women who grew up in our community and now proudly serve the place they call home.
While we're incredibly honored by this recognition, the real stars of this series are the people whose stories remind us that behind every badge is a person with a unique journey. Click here to watch the Full Series: bit.ly/4jHlMZ5
Today, TPD joined community partners to assemble sensory bags that will equip every officer and community service technician with tools to better support individuals with autism and other sensory needs.
The effort is the next step in our “Approach with Care” initiative, helping officers create safer, more compassionate interactions by meeting people where they are.
For TPD Sgt. Roa, his Cuban heritage is rooted in family, resilience and service.
After 20 years with TPD, he continues to share those values, even bringing traditional Cuban meals to officers working during the holidays.
