I think you’re just getting use to the tension of the hinge. I felt it opened too easily when I first got it but now it feels normal.

The iPhone Duo doesn’t hold a candle to the 18 Pro Max but that’s not the point, as an iPhone user we always been subject to using the same ole slab iPhone that just works.
The iPhone Duo is FAR from perfect but it’s not quite ready yet, but it’s fun to use.
