Russian diplomat @Amb_Ulyanov said the Tehran quadrilateral meeting signals a growing determination among regional nations to assume direct responsibility for their own security, stressing that the importance of this shift should not be underestimated.

Iran’s Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, called for a rapid, far-reaching scientific breakthrough to strengthen Iran’s national power and technological independence. In a message to scientific and sporting medalists, he urged young people and experts to use their talents to solve the country’s problems rather than pursue personal success alone. He outlined key priorities, including advancing basic sciences and humanities, encouraging innovation, strengthening domestic technological capabilities, and expanding cooperation between universities, research centers and industry. He also accused Iran’s adversaries of seeking to undermine the country by targeting its scientists and discouraging its talented youth. The Leader emphasized that scientific progress is essential to Iran’s future global standing and called on officials to provide the infrastructure and support needed to turn research into practical achievements.

Press Statement on the Quadrilateral Meeting Between Iran, Pakistan, Türkiye, and Saudi Arabia on Regional Security and Stability The first meeting of the four regional countries was held in Tehran on October 26. Major General Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, hosted the meeting. Participants included Prince Khalid bin Salman, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Defense; General Asim Munir, Chief of Pakistan’s Army; and Ibrahim Kalin, Head of Türkiye’s National Intelligence Organization. The participants agreed to continue consultations to strengthen cooperation among the four regional countries, including in the areas of regional peace and security.

President @drpezeshkian, speaking ahead of his visit to Russia, said: 🔹 Freedom of trade must be ensured to facilitate global energy supplies. 🔹 Strategic understanding and dialogue can help manage global energy affairs. 🔹 We will hold direct talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin as bilateral relations continue to expand. 🔹 Our goal is to promote multilateralism, not unilateralism or the show of power by a single country. 🔹 Countries should trade using their own currencies or mutually agreed currencies to prevent unilateral U.S. sanctions from taking effect.

Pezeshkian: Islamic Countries Can Present the World with a Model of Justice and Development The President stated: 🔹 Islamic countries should make brotherhood and unity the cornerstone of their relations, guided by the teachings of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). 🔹 Iran supports any agreement aimed at strengthening unity and cohesion among Islamic countries.

Iraq’s Prime Minister’s Office announced in a statement that the tenure of Hamid Rashid Faleh al-Shatri as head of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service had ended by order of Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ali Falih al-Zaidi. 🔸 No official details have been released so far regarding the reasons for the decision or the identity of al-Shatri’s potential successor.

Iran’s acting Minister of Petroleum, Qatar’s Minister of Energy, and Libya’s Minister of Oil and Gas held trilateral talks in Moscow. 🔸 The meeting aimed to strengthen joint cooperation in the energy sector and enhance the three countries’ role in global gas markets.
