Shira is part of the Digital Reality Walk at #FIFAfrica26, and it is built for a world where phishing has left the inbox. Scams now hide in your SMS, WhatsApp chats and social media DMs, waiting for one distracted click.
Created by the nonprofit Horizontal, this open source tool trains people to spot real threats across every channel they use.
Now the team wants your feedback to shape a 2027+ roadmap built for African realities. The survey is open to anyone, and security trainers, your insight is especially welcome. Take it here 👇

Tella has been downloaded over 50,000 times. We're on Android, F-Droid, and iOS. And we're working on a ton more privacy-preserving features. But everything is at-risk of collapsing. Help us out 👇
Horizontal has built vital tools to support those facing surveillance & repression. Now, the Trump administration’s funding freeze threatens everything we've built. To help us survive & continue our work, we are looking for 250 monthly donors.
