Feel free to be curious, but we strongly advise against going in… The admin doesn’t appreciate being disturbed. - Guardian Speed: Based on your overwhelming feedback, we’ve made adjustments to the Guardian’s speed to address some of the issues players have been experiencing, particularly in public matches. We’ve just published a quick hotfix, along with something to make sure everyone is aware of the upcoming event! Hotfix Updates: - Our first event countdown has been added! - Fixed interactions with Big Eggs. - Fixed eggs disappearing when knocked near their guardian’s nests. - Fixed the missing “Skip Growth” interaction for eggs above 5 minutes after reconnecting. - Glow and tone visual rebalancing across all platforms, which should help address exaggerated glows on consoles. We’ve just released a new update for Steal an Egg (Fortnite) featuring some community-requested improvements, quality-of-life changes, and bug fixes. We’ve been closely following your feedback, and several of the changes in this update come directly from things you’ve shared with us. As always, if you encounter any bugs or unexpected issues, please continue sending us bug reports. Your feedback is incredibly valuable and helps us identify issues and improve the game. Here’s what’s included: 🎵Audio: - Music Toggle: You can now turn the music on or off directly from the Settings menu. This was one of the most requested features from the community, and we wanted to make sure it made it into our first update. - Music Volume: We’ve reduced the overall music volume based on feedback from the community. 🎮Gamepad Improvements: - Improved gamepad navigation throughout shops. - Fixed an issue that caused the hotbar to appear darker when using a gamepad. 🥚Egg Size Speed Penalty: We’ve implemented a new version of the egg size speed penalty. We’re hoping this version provides a better experience and addresses the concerns raised by the community. If you’re still experiencing issues or feel that further adjustments are needed, please let us know! 🛠️Fixes & Quality-of-Life Improvements: - Items Appearing in Hands: Fixed an issue where an item could incorrectly appear in a player’s hands after being hit by the Guardian. - Updated the appearance of the Cosmic King Guardian. - Safe Zone: You will no longer see unused treadmills belonging to your neighbors. - Egg Sorting: Eggs in the Pen are now sorted by their remaining grow time. - Pet Sorting: Pets in the Pen are now sorted by rarity. - Income Notifications: Players will no longer see their neighbors’ green income notifications or offline money piles. You’ll now only see your own. - Additional Bug Fixes: Fixed a number of other minor bugs and issues discovered during testing. Nearly 8 months after the release of Havoc Hotel 3, we brought you the first spin-off in the franchise: Raptor Heist. A game that, when you think about it, didn’t have all that much to do with Havoc Hotel, but it definitely oozed the same DNA. We went into creating Raptor Heist with a new idea: What if there was more to do than just escape, chase better times, upgrade, and repeat? What if you had to retrieve something and then escape with it? And just like that, the idea of stealing a raptor egg was born, a mechanic we still absolutely love. We know many players ignored it, but we also know plenty of you went out of your way to complete the heist. Giving players the choice to do something different was incredibly important to us. It taught us a lot about what we could do differently, and how we could continue pushing the standard roguelike formula. So, did you play Raptor Heist? Was it part of your rotation? In that same year, we opened the doors to Havoc Hotel 2… we also gave you all Havoc Hotel 3. (I know, right… insane!) Building on the formula we established with Havoc Hotel 2, we pushed things even further, expanding the experience while also turning up the challenge. We wanted to give our veteran players something that would really test them and give them the chance to leave their mark. And boy, did you ever! Even to this day, we’re blown away by how many escapes you managed to pull off, how quickly you conquered the hotel, and, most importantly, just how much time you all poured into it. Seeing players learn, master the challenges, and push themselves further than we ever expected was incredible to watch. The release of Havoc Hotel 3 also marked a bit of a pause for the franchise, as we decided to dip our toes into some other games and explore new ideas we wanted to bring to life. But even after all this time, we still look back at Havoc Hotel with a huge amount of passion… and we know you all do too. So, just for fun… If Havoc Hotel ever returned, what would you want to see? New rooms? New mechanics? New challenges? Or maybe something completely unexpected? Part 2 of our Droid Update has arrived, and with it comes the Droid Depot! With the Droid Depot now active, players have even more reasons to collect and unlock droids. There’s quite a bit packed into this update, so let’s jump into the details! 🤖Droid Depot Enabled! The brand-new Droid Depot is now live! - Unlocked Droids now generate Credits over time. Once you’ve unlocked a droid, it will continue earning Credits for you. - Credit generation works while you’re offline. Whenever you return to the game, your droids will have Credits waiting for you to collect. - The Droid Depot Chest has a capacity limit. Once the Chest is full, your droids will stop generating additional Credits, so make sure to collect your rewards regularly to keep those Credits flowing! - Upgrade your Chest capacity through the Credit Rewards Store to hold more Credits before you need to collect. - Higher-level Droids generate more Credits, giving you another reason to keep collecting and upgrading your droid army! 🏠New Lobby To better accommodate the Droid Depot, we’ve given our Lobby a complete overhaul! The new Lobby provides a larger space for players to explore, while giving the Droid Depot the room it deserves. 🌊Gameplay Flow Improvements We’ve also made a few changes to make getting back into the action smoother: - Elimination Screen UI: When eliminated, players can now see their run statistics and quickly decide what they want to do next, all from the same screen. You can now: - Return to the Lobby - Jump straight back into the action 💨Lobby Teleport Input When inside the Droid Depot, a new input has been added that allows players to teleport directly to the start of a run with a single button press. No more unnecessary wandering around when you’re ready to get back into the action! 🪙Economy Balancing We’ve made some changes to help smooth out the early-game economy. - Bosses in Kashyyyk and Tatooine now provide greater rewards, giving players more Credits and improving the amount they can earn during the earlier levels. This should help address the economy gap we were seeing, where some upgrades could feel too expensive compared to the amount of Credits earned during each run. 🪲Bug Fixes - Removed destructible assets that were appearing around the map. - Removed faulty entitlements from the Droid Pack Store.
