Direxion's Global ETF Strategist Bilal Little @BilalSLittle on the upcoming Anthropic IPO: "It likely will be larger than SpaceX"
BILAL LITTLE, GLOBAL ETF STRATEGIST AT DIREXION, SAYS "I THINK THE BETA TRADE IS OVER." He sat down with our CEO Gav and here's what they covered: β€’ AI spending moving from cash to debt. Bilal says companies are shifting from paying for the AI build-out with their own cash to tapping the credit markets, and he cites several reports expecting free cash flow to stay negative for an extended period. In his words, "The trade isn't going away. It's just being priced differently." β€’ Google's βˆ’12.6% drop on October 29, its worst day since its 2004 IPO. β€’ The bond market, with the 30-year Treasury yield at 5.28% on November 2, up from 4.69% a year earlier. β€’ What Bilal calls the Musk trade. "It doesn't trade like the other tech companies," he says. β€’ IPOs, including Anthropic, which in Bilal's view will likely be larger than SpaceX. β€’ How leveraged ETFs work. "The leverage resets every single day." β€’ His view heading into 2027: "Investors have to have a barbell and ballast approach." He also sees commodities and international stocks as a long-term opportunity.
