Excited to share that created a new baseball game called Pinpoint
It’s a daily baseball knowledge game that you can play solo, compete against friends and even customize for fun by choosing certain teams/years
The goal is to get as close as possible to the percentile the player falls within among qualified players within 7 seconds (so you can’t look it up)
The player and category is randomized and there is one official randomized group per day
Playing this and spreading it is always extremely appreciated as my individual reach can only go so far
To share, just click “share” and it copies your final output in a non spoiler format that’s available to be pasted in a social media post
Thank you, enjoy!

🚨After a ton of work, I’m excited to finally share a personal project of mine 🚨
I've gone live with my website:
TheDiamondLab.live
Search any player or team, break down every metric that matters, run comparisons, stack lineups, simulate trades, explore correlations, and much more
Even just checking the website out would mean a lot to me! I’d also love your honest feedback: what you like, what’s missing, what should improve.
I don't have the biggest reach myself so any repost/like/comment would be greatly appreciated
I have zero expectations of this becoming some big revenue machine, but if it does well, I’m committing to regularly donating to children’s causes, military/veteran support, and local GoFundMes as I think that's really important to do.
(Open to suggestions on great foundations doing important work!)
Go explore, have fun, and let me know what you think.

I haven’t been in the batters box there so obviously I don’t know, but Is this not really impressive eyesight to clearly see it hitting the Fox sports set and point out to it?
Junior Caminero hit a baseball so far during batting practice that it smoked the FOX Sports set in the back of the stadium 😳

I find it pretty hilarious that people think James Dolan signs off on the day to day operations of MSG’s cybersecurity team 😂😂😂😂
If you’re mad about the stadium staff not getting rings, that’s all good and well if you’d like. As far as a security perspective, nothing wrong was done here, total non story
Everyone that is bitching and moaning about this has absolutely zero clue what they are talking about
Good phishing attempts are quite literally supposed to be aimed to replicate something your expecting
If they never get the opportunity to ever get a replica at any point later on, then sure that’s messed up, but that’s a separate matter. This was a very shrewd campaign ran.

Knicks sent a "phishing email" disguised as a championship ring offer to Madison Square Garden employees.
Those that clicked the fake link were forced to attend a mandatory cybersecurity class to "help satisfy some of [James] Dolan's cybersecurity concerns."

Yeah I def may have spoken wrong on the rings part as I didn’t read entire article. I had assumed if it was common for stadium staff to get them then they eventually would but appears they are not. That is a separate matter and to be quite honest I’m not familiar how common that even is for stadium employees to get rings, but as for the phish itself, cybersecurity team is doing what they are paid to do.

Is there a world where The Mets give Alvarez 1B reps vs LHP while Torrens catches next year? 👀
2024 OPS vs LHP: .808
2025 OPS vs LHP: 950
Although he did struggle a lot last year vs them
Mets catcher Luis Torrens has reported to the Venezuelan Winter League with Los Navegantes del Magallanes.
Teammate Francisco Alvarez has also arrived at camp and will work out exclusively at DH and first base. He reportedly did not receive authorization from the Mets to catch. #LGM

Now this would be exciting, extremely unlikely, but exciting nonetheless

Not that Atlanta would ever even move him here, but wouldn’t even want him here tbh

Life doesn’t have to be so hostile and violent
People with different views on the same issues sitting down and having conversations is how things should be done

I’m no scouting expert, but I would imagine it’s not the best of looks to be below league average from a staffing perspective with an owner with the most resources in the sport
These are the type of things we were supposed to be improving from an organizational perspective
I don’t even think you can really play the “too many cooks in the kitchen” game given how overworked scouts are and how broad of an area there is to cover with baseball being an international sport
For my old friends at @BaseballAmerica, I compiled the sizes of each team’s scouting staff.
Note that many teams frequently renowned for their technology and analytics (Dodgers, Rays, Brewers) also have some of the largest scouting staffs in MLB.

Unbiased Mets Fan retweeted
I've decided to pause the free jersey giveaway, and I want to be honest about why.
I’m really disappointed
I asked our community, including some of the larger content creators, to simply share a GoFundMe for a child in our community who is fighting brain cancer.
A kid that didn’t ask for this and him and family are going through hell to pay for all the medicals.
I wasn't asking anyone to donate, just to retweet so his family's story could reach more people.
Only a handful of people did.
I know everyone is busy, and I know a retweet can feel small. But for a family going through something this painful, reach can mean everything.
And it hurt to see how differently people respond when I post giveaways.
This could be any of our kids. I'm not angry, just disappointed , and I'm hoping we can do better for each other.
If you haven't yet, please take a moment to share his family's story. It costs nothing and could mean the world to them.
Thank you to everyone who did share. It actually mattered. #JetUp
@JetsLifePodcast Thank you for sharing and I will make a donation and keep spreading the word.

Brother went to get a gun with the intention of shooting his teammate because he was mad at him…
Hell of a run stopper though 😭🤣😭🤣😭
Wow. Much respect to #Titans HC Robert Saleh for explaining the DT Jordan Elliott gun situation.
“My message to 31 other teams: If you need a hell of a run-stopping D-tackle that can help on a playoff run, give me a call. I'll tell you everything you need to know about him. He’s a good man. Had a terrible lapse in judgment. I recognize it as a call for help. Not a criminal act.”
