This lovely 1956 drawing of St Francis School in Gorton is by former pupil George Kavanagh ✏️
The school is long gone, but its footprint is now our community Peace Garden ☺️

At certain times of day, sunlight streaming through the Great Nave creates a pathway of light from a historic #Franciscan mosaic towards the altar 💫
The mosaic bears the words Deus Meus et Omnia (My God & my all) a phrase associated with St Francis.
