It's safe to say that Silent Hill is back. We've gone from twelve years without a new title to having three excellent ones in as many years, with a fourth on the way. The excellent Silent Hill 2 Remake demonstrated just how beautiful this franchise can look on modern hardware, whilst Silent Hill f and the recently released Townfall have shown us there is scope for incredible new stories to be told in this universe. With the first game receiving a remake next year, it's a really exciting time to be a Silent Hill fan.

This whole "9 games that formed you" trend on Twitter is impossible to me. I've been playing video games since I was like 5 or 6 years old. And I'm OLD. Narrowing it down to 9 games is not possible for me. SO many games have shaped my relationship with gaming. To have run the gamut of video games from games like Dig Dug all the way to games like Resident Evil 9, you have NO IDEA the giant array and genre-disparity of video games I have played in my life. One day, I should really write about every game that really took a special place in my life. But I really have no idea how I'd be able to do that because that would end up like 5,000 pages long, I swear.
